Hester’s Theatre of Magic — Attraction in Hochatown

We took a quick weekend getaway, saw a flashy billboard advertising "Magic" and decided why not? To say we were impressed is an understatement. The lobby is decorated in all sorts of magic memorabilia, old and new. The smell of freshly popped popcorn was a treat as well as the gifts we found of magic wands and rabbits in a hat! The theater was clean and inviting. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to our seats as the we arrived a few minutes after 7PM. Hester's Theater of Magic is hands down, the best magic show we've ever seen! The magician, Chris, encouraged audience participation and interaction. He walked the floor and treated the audience with warmth and kindness. The tricks he performed baffled us and were mind blowing as I still cannot figure out how he did what he did. The young lady in the box was probably the most hilarious yet crazy cool performance-I am still wondering how how how?!? I also love how he never skipped a beat. Do you know how hard it is to keep an audience engaged and perform at the same time or prepare for the next trick? We never had any down time; he just kept rolling from one trick to another. And did I mention the dragon in the lobby? Just seeing the "DRAGON" was well worth the admission fee. It is obvious alot of thought and creativity went into this theatre. There were tricks for the young and more mature audiences. It was truly an experience for my family. Fantastically designed and awesomely performed. I can't wait to return with my parents so they can be amazed and bewildered by Chris and his magic show. If you can spare an few hours, go see this show. You will not be disappointed. You will leave scratching your head wondering how on earth? It is THAT...

I’ve seen Chris do some private shows where I got to witness his card tricks up close … Mind Blowing! When we heard he finally opened his dream theatre, we made a special trip to come see it! It did not disappoint! The magic was great, but Chris’ storytelling skills take it up a notch. It appears effortless!

I was impressed with the number of ppl that got to get on stage and be part of the show!! It was very interactive. If you or a kiddo want to be part of the show,you need to go! My sons (12 and 8) got to get on stage and it feels like Chris did a special routine to work the brotherly love into the show!

We recently attended the Hester Magic Show and had an absolutely amazing time! We opted for the VIP tickets, which put us right in the front row, making the experience even more immersive.
