I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Agave, a truly exceptional cabin in Broken Bow, OK over Labor Day weekend, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was no ordinary getaway. The cabin was a dream come true, effortlessly blending luxury with rustic charm.
One of the standout features of the cabin was the thoughtfully designed coffee bar. Mornings started off perfectly with a variety of premium coffees and flavored syrups. It was the ideal spot for a leisurely start to the day, surrounded by breathtaking views of the surrounding woods.
The fire pit area was another highlight. Nestled in a cozy corner of the property, it provided a warm and inviting space for evening gatherings. We spent countless hours there, roasting marshmallows, sharing stories, and enjoying the starry sky. The seating around the fire pit was both comfortable and spacious, making it perfect for family bonding. It was also located right next to a fun play area for the kiddos, horseshoes, plenty of parking and a cool secret walkway to the creek behind the home. We also spent a lot of time in the hot tub, watching movies and relaxing.
For those who enjoy a bit of friendly competition, the game room was an absolute hit. Equipped with air hockey, a video game console, shuffle board and a selection of board games, it kept everyone entertained and engaged. It was the perfect retreat for kids and adults alike, adding a playful touch to our vacation.
The cabin itself was incredibly spacious, comfortably accommodating three families with ease. Each set of parents had their own private bedroom and full bathroom, yet there were ample common spaces for everyone to gather and create lasting memories. The bedrooms were well-appointed, offering plush bedding and plenty of room to relax after a day of adventure. The kids had 3 extra large bunks on one side, and 2 cozy bunks for the littles, which they loved because it was hidden by a wall. The teens had their own bedroom upstairs with full bath.
Every detail in this cabin was carefully curated to ensure a luxurious yet homey feel. The blend of modern amenities with rustic elegance created an atmosphere of pure relaxation. It truly felt like a home away from home, but with all the added benefits of a high-end retreat.
If you're looking for a place to unwind, reconnect with loved ones, and enjoy the beauty of Broken Bow, Casa Agave is an absolute gem. It exceeded all of our expectations and provided a memorable experience that we'll cherish for years to come. I can't...
Read moreWe loved the Just'n Case cabin. It was the perfect fit for our family (2 adults, 2 kids). In short, we will definitely be back! For a more detailed review, keep reading!
The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch or dinner. We stayed from Thurs night - Sunday. We utilized the washer/dryer - there was laundry detergent there already. There was dual coffee pot and we used the k-cups they provided. Bring coffee filters if you want to brew your own coffee. Dishes were nice and new and had all the utensils we needed. We only had 2 dish tabs, but that was enough for us - we just hadn't washed when we needed something. Bring a dish sponge if you want to hand wash or bring more dish tabs for the dishwasher.
The cabin smells brand new! The windows let in lots of light so the place feels bright and airy. The fireplace in the living room was great! It warmed up the room really quickly. There were boards games as well as ring toss. We didn't use them much as we were busy at the state park all day. We spent most of the time outside when we were in the cabin or watching movies.
The backyard: Our kids loved the brand new swing set and we also loved roasting marshmallows around the fire pit (bring your own wood and skewers). I wish they had the patio string lights you see on other cabins, but there was enough lighting without it - it's just a wish (not a need). We used the fireplace outside, but check the furniture outside for spiders! we saw a really cool one hanging out! The grill was SO CLEAN! we used it the whole time we were there. I'd recommend bringing some grilling utensils - we bought a nice one from Pruett's Food store in town that we are going to use at home now. The hot tub was CLEAN and so relaxing after a long day of hiking. Definitely bring your swimsuits! There is a cabin next door, but we could not see them at all. There is also one way behind you (maybe another street?), but because of the thick trees, you couldn't see them. It was nice to be by ourselves.
The bathrooms were clean and the showers felt great! Shampoo, conditioner and body wash was provided. If you have a large family, then maybe bring an extra towel. The beds were very comfy and the comforters were WARM! TV's in the room were nice. My kids got a kick out of the touch lamps.
Overall, we give Just'nCase 5 stars! We will definitely be back. The only thing I could wish for...
Read moreI WON'T EVER AGAIN book or recommend anyone to book with Bravo Cabin Rentals. I wrote a fair and honest (3 star) review of "Lost in the Dream" (the cabin that I stayed in recently) on their website well over a week ago, and my review is still not listed on there. I reached out to Bravo through both email and text to find out the reason for this. No one answered my email. I got a reply back through text that this would be looked into but since then no one has gotten back to me. I then decided to look more closely at not just the reviews for the cabin that I stayed in but for the other cabins listed on their website as well, and what I found was (shocker, not!) that pretty much all the cabins had almost exclusively 5 star reviews, so of course my 3 star review wouldn't be on there. Deceptive Business Practices I decided to call Bravo directly (and as I had suspected) was pretty much told outright that they "filter" their reviews because a star rating lower than 5 would negatively impact them. And they advertise that if you give them a 5 star rating, then you'll get 15% off your next booking. SMDH... the person I spoke to on the phone with wasn't very helpful and in fact was rather condescending, proceeding to tell me that some people don't know how to "give" reviews; that they'll give a 4 star review but then if you ask them what they didn't like/what could be better (why not a 5 star review), they would say that everything was great and that they wouldn't change a thing. I assured the man that I spoke with that I wasn't born yesterday, have traveled extensively, writen plenty of reviews before, and surely know how to do that. If something warrants a 5 star review, it'll get it and vice versa. While I was talking to them on the phone, our call got disconnected. Was I hung up on?!? Possibly. Bravo Cabin Rentals: What a terrible way to conduct...
