Nothing but rv parking. No wifi, no pool outside of a 8-5pm m-f window. No activities. Nothing. I got here at 530 no one at office. No grounds person. No code to get in bathroom. Left message on answering machine but no one called me back yet. I did talk to 2 separate people on golf carts and both were dunker than hell and couldn't tell me anything but some guy works here but you can never find him. I will say park is clean but how in the world do you run a park with nothing after 5pm and nothing on weekends. Thank God I called in the morning and found out what lot# I was supposed to go to. The lot we got is literally is a stones throw from the highway entrance. .i got a 5year old not safe with people flying into the park. This is NOT camping or resort it's parking. No wonder they still had availability on a holiday weekend. If this is how their other properties are run than I'm never going to another one. I was told about a thousand trails membership when I first booked. This place is definitely not selling it. Ohh I wasn't even told till I called this morning that pool schedule is so screwed up. They should have that posted online. Not cool especially with kids looking forward to getting away and going swimming. Update: Went in to office since someone came in on Saturday. I asked about everything like No Pool No Fires No WIFI. The response I got was all due to COVID. I complained that it should be on website and was then told I could leave and have refund other than that call corporate. Leave and go where? every place in area was booked. Talked to some residence that live there and was told since takeover it gone down hill for service.

We really enjoy staying at the Holiday Travel Park through Thousand Trails and this is our third stay here. The residents of the park are very friendly, inviting, and will strike up a conversation with you as you sit in the main lodge or walk through the park. Matt and Christa, the office staff, are also very friendly and are always helpful to make your stay wonderful here at Holiday Travel! Just outside of the park, you’ll find a Winn Dixie grocery store (on the right), and to the left, a local Greek food stand (wonderful), a liquor and wine store with a great selection, and more. Within a short driving distance, there are nice local parks and walking trails – recommend the North Anclote Nature Park and Jay B. Starky Wilderness Park (dogs on leash allowed in both). In terms of local major attractions, Tampa is about a 40 minute drive away where you can visit the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI), Busch Gardens, Adventure Island and more. Tarpon Springs is a very short distance away and very worth visiting the Sponge Docks, the Hellas Restaurant, and many shops. Parking is free in the Hellas Restaurant’s Parking Lot (around back) provided that you dine at their restaurant. Be sure to get a validated parking ticket from the server.

We stayed here this past week with our Thousand Trails membership, so it was ā€œfreeā€ for us. They replaced the front entrance sign while we were there, which is a symbol of the upgrades occurring around the place. All washer/dryer machines accept credit/debit cards, which made paying so much easier than planning ahead & getting quarters. Also, there are multiples buildings throughout the park that have shower & laundry facilities, so there are not lines for either. The sites have picnic tables & concrete pads, though the sites themselves are on grass. There are a ton of permanent structures with seasonal snowbirds, but they are very nice & friendly towards kids. Lots of dogs being walked, people bicycling, & an overall feeling of happiness & safety. We had the only two children we saw the entire week we were there, & there is no playground. BUT, the location is perfect for accessing the sponge docks of Tarpon Springs, the city life of Tampa (Zoo, Children’s Museum, Bayshore Blvd, etc.), the beach vibes of Clearwater, & the amazing playgrounds & sunsets of Dunedin. Oh, & the office is great with package deliveries, if you online shop, like us!

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our recent stay at Holiday Travel Park was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless and welcoming. The park is beautifully maintained, with pristine grounds and well-kept facilities that cater to every need of a traveler.

One of the standout aspects of our visit was the exceptional service provided by Matthew. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the park and surrounding area, but also genuinely enthusiastic and eager to assist with any queries or concerns. His friendly demeanor and proactive attitude significantly enhanced our stay, making us feel right at home.

The amenities at Holiday Travel Park are great. The campsites are spacious and well-equipped, providing both comfort and convenience. The restrooms and showers were impeccably clean, which is always a critical factor in choosing a travel park. Additionally, the park offers a variety of recreational activities that kept us entertained throughout our stay. From the inviting pool to the well-maintained clubhouse , there was never a dull moment.

The location of Holiday Travel Park is another big plus. Nestled in a picturesque area, it offers a perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility to local attractions. Whether you're looking to explore the nearby trails or simply relax and enjoy the natural beauty, this park has it all.

Holiday travel Park This was a trip I planned around being close to a Vacation rental our son had rented in the area! How I wish I had looked at more reviews!!!! There website shows 4 stars plus it is an Encore and Thousand trails provider( I am not a member of either) but stayed at other were great. So I thought it would be fine!

The sign coming into the park says ā€œresortā€ let’s be clear this is not a resort!!! This is a trail park with a pool! Let’s start with the sights, they are small and tight. We have a 21 ft tt and the roads are smaller! I could not imagine pulling something bigger in! The pavement for the sight was old and narrow. The 30 amp box kept throwing the breaker! (Have not had this issue before). The water pressure was fine.

On to the ā€œresortā€ I had my 6 year old granddaughter with me, let’s just say we did not feel comfortable walking any further then to our truck! So we never seen the pool! We seen multiple police on multiple occasions, we even seen a police drone! Every night was a new problem, one night a bunch of motorcycles decided to have a burn out rally! One morning we woke up to glass broke clear across the entrance to the park!

The area surrounding this ā€œresort ā€œ isn’t much better, parts of the ā€œresortā€ even backs up to a strip joint!

Yes let’s not forget there isn’t any cable or internet!!!

We will not be back and I will be doing more...
