The Perfect Dress — Attraction in Holladay

I could go on all day about how fantastic this bridal boutique is. First things first, it certainly lived up to its name--with Jackie's help, I found the perfect dress. I had been discouraged after looking at other stores in Utah and finding that everything was either the same (and boring) or cost thousands and thousands of dollars. The Perfect Dress has an incredible selection of unique and beautiful dresses, and they're priced in a budget that's actually reasonable! I couldn't believe it--after convincing myself that the only way I'd ever find a dress I liked was if I had somebody design and sew it from scratch, The Perfect Dress actually had multiple options that I would have been completely thrilled to wear on my wedding day.

But obviously, when it comes to wedding dress shopping, there is more that matters than just the actual dress. Well, this store could also be called The Perfect Experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt important, taken care of, and like everyone who was helping me was an expert. Jackie, the store manager, was the opposite of pushy and domineering. She was patient with me, let me try on as many dresses as I wanted (including switching back and forth and back and forth and back and forth between a few), and was completely honest with her opinions, not taking what would be the biggest sale into consideration. She made me feel at ease and like this shopping experience was already a celebration. Though Jackie was the one specifically helping me, the other associates working in the store were incredible professional, helpful, and friendly as well.

Efficient. Personable. Friendly. I loved my experience at The Perfect Dress. My appointment was with Ariel who made me feel so comfortable and excited about looking for a dress. She listened to what I wanted, let me browse the dresses, and chose some that were exactly my description. She also chose some dresses that were different from what I originally wanted, but it was so helpful in really narrowing down the style I was looking for.

Ariel was the perfect combination of efficient and friendly. I didn’t feel rushed, but I also felt like we were really making good progress in finding a dress. Finally we found the perfect flutter sleeve dress and they had my size in the store! When they brought the dress up there was a slight pull in the bottom of the fabric. (It was hardly visible) Ariel immediately offered a discount on the dress and called their recommended seamstress to assess the damage. Not five minutes later, the seamstress was at the store examining the dress. She said the pull was very easily fixed, then gave us a quote on other alterations. We bought the dress, and I’m so happy that we did!! It’s perfect.

After my appointment Ariel sent me a hand written thank you card, thanking me for the purchase and addition to their business. It was such a genuine and kind way to sum up my experience there.

I found my dress here and it was perfect!! The staff was so friendly and there was an amazing selection to choose from. After my purchase, I made the mistake of going to my own seamstress and had the nightmare experience of a “ruined” dress. The style was completely changed and the seamstress did not listen to anything I had requested. Luckily (with barely any time to spare & a butchered dress) I called The Perfect Dress for help and they referred me to one of their contracted seamstresses Kelley who owns Pushing Pins. Let me tell you...Kelley SAVED THE DAY!! The scheduling experience is so professional and easy, her home was spotless every time I went in (much appreciated during Covid-19), and it was a night & day different experience. Kelley took the time to listen to what my needs were and made sure she understood everything. I didn’t feel rushed or like I was an inconvenience, instead she made me feel like she equally wanted my dress to be fixed to my liking. I just picked it up and I am so relieved. After the scare of a ruined dress, having to postpone all wedding festivities due to the pandemic, and then ultimately deciding to cancel my wedding to elope instead..
