So we love tony burgers but was seriously disappointed Sunday when we went in. My order and my husband’s were screwed up. I hate pickles with a passion so I didn’t want any while my husband gets just about everything on his. I got his tomatoes and pickles in my burger. We had to wait 6-8 minutes for his malt to come out after the food because they said they were busy. Mind you there was a total of 6 people in the restaurant and they were all eating so that was a piss poor excuse. When I pointed out to the older lady that our burgers were wrong, she laughed and said the young boy cashier didn’t understand, didn’t understand English is my guess. Plus how did it get screwed up when the order read correctly? $46 for 2 burgers they should’ve been perfect. I would have thought they’d remake the burgers or give us a credit, they didn’t. Oh my the way he messed up with husbands drink, forgot to get it in order so we paid the other $2.60 for the drink but had to put both orders on my debit card since they take no cash, can you believe that? 100% plastic only. But they asked for a tool when we placed the order, for what? Delivering my tray of food 12’ from kitchen to our table. It’s going to be a long time til we go back. Btw cashier also cancelled where you put your phone number for rewards so I didn’t even get...

This is my goto comfort food place. I probably end up here at least once every month. I met the owner a few times, really nice down to earth guy, works alongside the staff and is willing to do what he can to make sure you have a good experience there.

Tonyburgers makes one of the best some of the best burgers I have ever had. I love the taste and the Tony Sauce (sorta a spiced up version of frysauce I think) is really really good. Everything is made with GOOD beef!

They also have good salads, and chicken burgers, and the staff isn't scary or rude at all. I haven't had any bad experiences with any of them. I will say that it's not the fastest place on the planet, because they actually cook your food to order and the burgers are high quality beef and cooked correctly. If it's not busy when you get there it's pretty fast.

I read a single star review where the guy showed up on a Sunday and was frustrated he didn't get his food as fast as McDonald's.... I mean... I don't have words, you go to a place like Tonyburgers because you don't want food like that... Oh well.

Also, their Shakes are also amazing. Like, really really good. I recomend them a lot!

If you need a comforting tasty meal, this...

The food was good and the service was great. Even in COVID times they were open and the dine in was open with good spacing as well.

My only little thing however, their prices were quite high. Now I'm a foodie and I eat a lot so it makes sense that their portion was smaller in my eyes. But my 8 year old stick-figure-of-a-size niece finished her burger. My 9 year old son also asked. Of course, the first thing one may think is "you guys eat too much!" Makes absolute sense but when I'm at another restaurant that I pay that high, my son is satisfied. I also noticed my bun was not warm and then my son mentioned it too. Maybe we're just new to Utah and not used to it.

Nevertheless, the fries were great, the fry sauce was packaged well and the burger was awesome! The food came out within 15 minutes which I liked and they also have a tap machine for my phone. That is ALWAYS a plus for me, not only for the times we live in (contactless is better) but also because I mainly only carry my phone.

Some awesome guy who saw my 2 youngens outside looking in told me of their 20% discount text and even forwarded to me on the spot. That helped save a bit. Overall, it's a great place to go with...

When Tonyburger in Holladay first opened years ago, they were phenomenal. They consistently had great food. They had the absolute best fries out there. Fresh, crispy, golden and delicious. The last several times we’ve gone there, it’s noticeably deteriorated. This last time, I decided to post a review with the hopes that management sees it and makes changes. The fries today were not edible. They were way overcooked, brown, stale and soggy and basically gross. It appears to me that these fries were sitting for a long time and someone put them back in the fryer for my order. The main reason we ordered from Tonyburgers was for their fries. I get that delivery fries will never be as good as dine-in fries, but we live less than a mile from the restaurant. They should have been fresh. This isn’t the case. Disappointed. Also, the last several times I went into the restaurant, the floors were nasty. Greasy, dirty and sticky. Says a lot about their cleanliness habits. They need to do better. The burger was good, but not being able to have it with fries was a bummer.

We used to love Tonyburgers but tonight had a terrible experience. We had a to-go order for a family of 6. We brought the bags of food home to find they had completely botched our order. Not one of the 6 burgers had the correct toppings. One person's burger had meat even though we had ordered a veggie burger. One person's was a Tiny Tony patty when they had ordered a full-sized. The meat burgers were cold, under-cooked, and disgusting. As soon as we got home at realized the order was wrong, I looked up the Holladay restaurant's phone number and tried to call to make a complaint. But the phone number is disconnected. I also tried to call the main Bountiful number and the downtown SLC number but neither worked. One prompted me to enter an access code, and the other gave me a full voicemail box error message. We have been going to Tonyburgers and loving it for years so I'm sad to say this, but we decided never to go there again. We don't want to deal with this again. What a waste of time and money.
