As a freelance web developer, computer problems for me mean I can't work. I was planning on doing a memory upgrade myself on my HP laptop this weekend and I needed to order the card. My machine was becoming slower and slower and I had to ctrl+alt+del to keep it from locking up often. I took the memory card out myself and when I put it back in, the machine wouldn't respond. This was at 3pm on a Saturday. I panicked and decided I needed to find a shop that could put me back in business. One place I called said they were very busy and were about to close at 4pm on a Saturday and they could get to my machine later next week. I called US Tech Shop and found they were not as busy and could get to my machine today. I paid my $25 diagnostic deposit and Sebastian said he wold call me back in about a hour. After about half an hour he called me back and asked why I wanted to upgrade the RAM. I said that my machine was responding slower and slower. He said that was because my hard drive was gong out. I thought it was going to run about $400-$600. Sebastian said he could get the machine to 16GB and add a new hard drive for a very reasonable fee. I gladly paid it and couldn't wait to get my machine home. My HP Envy is now the fastest machine I have ever worked on (also beating a Macbook Pro I worked on last year at an onsite project). I have to re-download a bunch of applications now but it is well worth it! They will get all my business and I will refer everyone who is having computer problems to US Tech Shop!

For starters, the older gentleman that seems like the owner is very nice and helpful. That's about where my pleasure with this place ends. The younger man doesn't want to be bothered and rushes to help, says my motherboard must be busted, and I did a "bad job" building this gaming pc. It's my personal gaming rig and I've been building and selling pcs for about 8 years. I brought it here because I couldn't download anything and after an agregeous amount of time in the cmd prompt and run file as well as my reg keys and disabling all antivirus and such I could not figure out the issue. They got chrome to download by allowing it through antivirus and called it complete and charged me fifty bucks and said they could look longer but it will cost more, because low and behold, I still can't download anything other than chrome. I wouldn't advise bringing anything here that's more technical than a work laptop. The man even said his build with a GTX 560 would keep up with my 3080. I don't think he knows much aside from what he's learning from youtube and how to seat hardware...

beyond disappointed with this place brough them in my iPhone to get my cracked screen fixed just to get screwed around for days about when my phone would be ready then when I finally got it back the camera was broke the only way I was able to answer a call is if I put the phone on speaker brought it back to get fixed got jerked around a couple more days about when my phone would be ready received it just to have a black spot in the corner of my screen called them they said they would fix it brought it back just to be told a week later my phone is no longer useable got into a argument with the guy we came to an agreement for him to pay me 150.00$ he payed me only 50$ then jerked me around for weeks on when he would have the rest of the money then later on told me he wasn't gonna pay me I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you do not use this place of business very poor customer service and a very rude owner who did not want take responsibility for ruining my iPhone and completely jerked me around...
