So here's the scoop, the place functions more like a community center than a library which I have no qualms with but it comes with a caveat for us newbies who come to this location. Keep in mind that the place still has the functions of a library but it occasionally houses events and a permanent section for children and it's not necessarily conducive to promoting a quiet environment for you to focus and work on tasks like your typical library.
I advise that you carry with you earplugs or headsets to stave off the impending sound waves caused by squealing and screeching children. Since the location doesn't take a strict stance on keeping it quiet, the onus falls on you to block out sounds produced from events, children, and wandering patrons that fail to keep it quiet because of a lack of a "keep it down" policy.
The place is very clean, it has a very corporate, steam-punk, and Sci-Fi theme depending on which section of the Cybrarium you're in.
The staff is pretty friendly and usually comprised of people that will tend to aid you if notified. You can book a quiet study room, VR headsets, and other available services. The location offers cubicles with charger ports, a myriad of seating areas with charging ports, and movies/books for you to easily self check-out without a hassle. The place is also well kept due to regulated locations where patrons are allowed to eat thus minimizing the probability of finding crumbs and gum all over the place.
As a typical library, the place gets a 4/5 due to the unregulated screeching of children and loud patrons, but if you're rating it as a community center with various activities... I give it a 5/5, depends on what you want out...
Read moreI haven't been to many libraries as I've been able to complete my assignments at school or home. However, when I had to go to one in order to finish an assignment, believe me when I say I was shocked by the rich, colorful atmosphere held by Cybrarium. It's actually unbelievable how beautiful and cozy the place looks and feels. Getting to where you want to be without stopping and being amazed by the beautiful environment is the most challenging part about Cybrarium. Not to mention its vast selection of not only books but other forms of media such as DVDs and games. While I excel at English and am partaking in high-level classes centered around English, I was never much of a reader. However, due to all the pros I just listed, I'm reconsidering that. My only issue (more of a nitpick) is how early the library closes. Overall, while I don't go to many, I think I speak for everyone who went to Cybrarium when I say that it's a really...
