Playground equipment is in disrepair. There are cracks in the slides. A metal road repair sign was placed at the top of the shorter slide so nobody can go down it, but it's still accessible from the bottom and kids can climb up the slide causing more damage, or worse yet get injured. Also the grounds around the playground are very uneven, and full of muddy holes which can cause falls should a child or an adult trip or lose their footing due to the holes. Hopefully the city or whoever in charge of maintaining the park, will make the necessary improvements and repairs to keep our children safe while...

Took my grand kids for their bike ride. It's cool, clean and nice. There were other families there enjoying the day. There are baseball feilds, areas where people where plain soccer, a 50 meter pool, basketball courts and tennis... looks like there is a new type of paddle game. My son told me the call it smash ball. Go figure...

Anyway, looks like tennis/volleyball combined.

I peeked into the gym. There was some kind of practice going on with young people... it seems they were just getting stsrted.

All in all. I had a really good time there with my granddaughters.

It was...

Nice park and playground for keiki to play. I appreciate the trees that provide shade surrounding the playground area. The surrounding view of the mountains is beautiful. Sadly, just as is the case at many other parks we've visited, tables and other property easily becomes degraded with vulgarity by visitors. Not sure how this problem can be resolved, but it's very unfortunate. Next time I visit the park, I intend to take cleaner in order to clean the table in the photo provided. Hopefully, though, it will have already...

Situated in middle of picturesque Mānoa Valley adjacent to Mānoa Stream and residential homes. Large and spacious community park with well maintained facilities including a gym, swimmimg pool, tennis and basketball courts, facilities for youth baseball. Easy access. Large parking lot at end of Kaʻaipu Ave. Area is very green after rainy season and on sunny days. However it rains often and is sometimes very windy. Gets dusty when baseball infields are raked on windy days.

Great place for activities of all kinds. The only complaint i have is the bathroom maintenance. No trash can in the bathroom by the pool. No paper towels and no soap in either. The bathroom on the baseball field side, one stall has been out of service for over 2 months now. Doesnt seem as though the bathrooms are cleaned daily. However, it is still not the worse place ever when its not clean. But certainly there is room for improvement.
