This little mall has most everything the neighborhood of Manoa needs. There's a Safeway and a CVS for their daily needs. There is also bank and several small restaurants available in this outdoor mall. On the upper floors, there are a variety of services ranging from nail and hair salons along with some yoga and physical therapy studios.
They recently redid the parking lot here and I initially questioned the logic in which this was planned and executed. In the end, it seemed as though more parkings were removed than added. Ā Ā Ā Read moreWeirdly laid out, but a appreciated neighborhood shopping complex option that has a good range of basic as well as niche services including banks, a supermarket, a general drug store, artisan Euro/fusion bakery, range of ethnic eateries, local style eateries, a chain coffee shop, blood lab, a few professional offices, and even a simple limited hours post office. There is a simple farmers' market Tuesdays and Thursdays, however their selection is limited as only about three vendors are regulars. It's a good option if you live in or near Manoa Valley as one does not have to leave the Valley (through one-lane traffic choke points), the parking is adequate, there never is a crowd/crush, and the cooler weather (compared to the Honolulu flats) makes shopping errands...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI like this place. They have 1 grocery store, a drug store, a lot of eateries, from Chinese food to Korean to Japanese to a Patisserie to Pizza and Crepes and Subway sandwiches as well as a healthy option in Leahi Health. Thereās a farmers market, Thereās dental offices, a laundromat, even a pet vet clinic, a gas station, and couple coffee shops.
They even have a small play area for kids. During the holidays, they put up a small Christmas tree.
The only thing that I donāt like is that they only have several bathrooms on the 2nd floor, and you need a code to get in. Also the bathroom code changes time to time. You have a bunch of restaurants in the marketplace yet only 3 public bathrooms, one female, one male, and...
