There are a lot of crepe places and most of them are Asian style focused, but this place is defiantly more European authentic yet there are lots of flavors and adaptations suited for the Hawaii palate.
Everyone there is very friendly and seem happy working there. We were greeted warmly and with a true welcoming feeling. If you got questions, they happily explain the menu to you and make personal recommendations. They got great patience, since we just couldn't decide what to get.
Our crepes were freshly made to order. Not skimpy either and easy to share if you don't want to eat a whole one. We probably should have shared one, but got the Mango Lilikoi and La Vie Est Belle which were both excellent.
They offer great smoothies and coffee drinks as well. I really enjoyed my Nutellate as an iced drink and my partner got the Mango Tango with apple juice which gave it a lighter base, yet letting the fruit flavor really come out.
Yes, this place probably isn't for those who are counting calories and watching their weight. This is an indulgent sort of place if you want something more then a some over decorated confection that is all air and...
Read moreI've visited this place 3 times now. The food quality is ok, but it's definitely not on par with other similar restaurants. They must have high staff turnover because 2 times I have gone people seem to be getting trained on everything for the first time. Also the owner/manager has no idea how to run a restaurant, he is very rude and shows a lack of customer service experience. The 3rd time I went, I walked into the restaurant and there was no one else in line. The owner was talking on the phone, and looked up after a minute and saw I was standing at the counter. Instead of acknowledging me or giving me any type of signal he would help me asap he turned around and continued talking on the phone for another 5 minutes. I got so frustrated I walked out and I will never return.
*RESPONSE TO STORE REPLY I am not one of those people looking for a handout to take down my review. I stand by my experience and nothing you can offer me will change my opinion of...
Read moreUnfortunately, there was only one person to handle both the making of the crepes and cashiering for the afternoon crowd. Also, they made my crepe too stuffed, a disproportionate amount of pesto, which should be used as a -hint- since it is so strong, instead of overwhelming the crepe, as well as the balsamic. Lastly, the decaf Americano was scalding hot, which took a while to cool. Too bad I couldn't enjoy it with the savory crepe. And...common on, don't talk on the phone while preparing customers' food. I wish I could say this place was good because their crepe batter is the BEST part. Looks like staff requires better training for the price...
