A large group of cyclists converge on the start line of the Boston Marathon each year while the runners are in bed preparing for their 26.2 mile run.
While the route begins to shut down to cars and be set up for water stations and medical assistance cyclists pedal along the route decked out with lights on their bikes, person and helmets, some wearing costumes (including a unicorn!) and some blasting music in their wake.
Some residents are out on their lawns to cheer on the marathon bikers, which adds to the festive atmosphere.
This is not an official race or event, but it is a lot of fun!
