ARCOS Cucina + Bar — Restaurant in Hopkinton

Very good new restaurant in downtown Hopkinton! Everything we ordered was just delicious! Arcos serves Mediterranean food, everything from Italian to Portuguese to Spanish, etc… I was with a party of four and we all really enjoyed everything! The service was really good, too! If I had to nitpick and say one thing in terms of constructive criticism (and this is literally the only one thing I could think of), I would say that my filet mignon was a bit overly smothered in the accompanying mushroom sauce. Both the sauce and the filet were very good (good cut of meat!) but the sauce was a little too heavy to completely cover the filet with it. They should consider putting it on the side. I think many people would agree that a sauce, especially a heavier sauce like a mushroom sauce, is better suited on the side with a filet. This way it avoids making the filet look a bit like pot roast when served ( which was first thing I thought of when I saw it) and it looks and tastes more flavorful and elegant. The flavor of the steak itself should be the star, and the sauce should just be a flavorful addition, but not overwhelm the flavor of the steak. I did eat my whole filet though, and it was still tasty! BUT, that being said: considering this place has only been open for a week or two at most, I would say they are on their way to greatness! Overall, everything was absolutely wonderful. My husband said his Bolognese was fabulous, and the other two people in our party said their dinners were delicious! All of our appetizers were so yummy, and the drinks were spot on! This place is already very good, and I think they are on their way to becoming even better! This is an absolutely wonderful and much needed addition to Hopkinton’s restaurant scene. I will most definitely be back!! Kudos to...

The restaurant layout itself is virtually unchanged from when it was CPH. Four of us were seated with out delay after making a reservation. The meatball app. was tasty. Service friendly and adequate. It's at this point things started declining. I ordered the Primavera with added chicken. 3 meals were tabled and mine was MIA. The server said, I'll be right back with yours. We waited another 5 minutes (not eating) when it arrived it was Cacciatore ? Peppers with onions in a red sauce over Angel Hair. (which isn't even on the menu !) Not wanting to delay the table from eating, I ate it. The entire time I was wondering, did I read the menu wrong ? After the meal I re-read the menu. I was 100% served the wrong meal. When I brought it to the attention of our waitress she apologized and asked, well was it ok ? Wrong answer. It's not what I ordered.The chef literally made a dish that's not on the menu. She indicated she would let the manager know. We waited longer than normal expecting a visit to the table by the manager. That never happened. This was likely a one and done visit for me. Primarly because of the way this was handled or should I say not handled. For the record the bill was paid in full and the server tipped 20 %. If the new owners are hoping for success you can't charge 5 stars with 2 star service.

5/1/25 follow up. The mgr., Mark reached out. After a very friendly, sincere conversation I can tell you he is very passionate and conscientious about everyone walking through the door having and leaving with an amazing experience. Because of his professionalism and follow up we will 100% be giving Arcos a second go....

We visited this restaurant and were absolutely delighted! The interior is stylish yet understated — everything is thoughtfully designed without unnecessary flashiness. The atmosphere makes you feel calm, relaxed, and comfortable, as if you’ve come to a place where you’re truly welcome.

The service deserves special mention — attentive, polite, and friendly. The staff are always nearby when you need them, but never intrusive. Our order was served quickly, and we didn’t have to wait long, which was a pleasant surprise.

The food was simply outstanding! Everything was clearly made from fresh ingredients, cooked with love and great taste. The portions were generous, the presentation beautiful, and the aromas so tempting that you immediately want to try everything on the menu. You can tell the chef and the team put real passion and care into every dish.

Overall, this place left a very positive impression. It’s the kind of restaurant where you want to stay a little longer, enjoy the atmosphere, and savor every bite. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone who values quality, comfort, and a truly enjoyable...
