Menu was sparse and not the typical great Mexican food one would expect, so that was disappointing. The prices are very high. We were a party of 5 at dinner. One person got a plate called Quesadilla Appetizer for $12 it was a tiny little 7 inch small tortilla with hardly no cheese. Two of us had their Veggie Burrito = the vegetables were cold and not cooked well, supposed to have cheese but we did not see any. These dishes came alone with no refried beans, no rice. Each Veggie Burrito cost $13.00 which is extremely high for one burrito - they serve it on a large plate and make it look like you are getting a lot. We had poor service and there was only one other couple in the place. We constantly had to get our waiter's attention who kept sitting at the bar using his mobile phone; this happened throughout the time we were there. Lastly, the most disturbing aspect is that if you pay with anything but cash the total is almost $4.00 more. Why isn't this explained before ordering? We do not intend to ever patronize this place again. We really did not...
Read moreSkip the nachos and go for the heavy stuff. This first time I started with classics: pork burrito, shrimp and chicken tacos.
Pork was very nicely cooked (not mushy but soft and properly seasoned). Shrimps were not overcooked, chicken was a bit spicy. Selection of corn and wheat tortillas is nice. Fresh salsa seemed unusual (canned tomatoes or too much time in the blender?), habanero salsa was lovely.
Value is excellent, everything is a restaurant serving, not a street handheld situation. Tacos come with rice and beans to make it a proper meal. I just priced my burrito vs Chipotle and Orale won!
Both kitchen and front service was fast. Inside is clean and ready for a busy night. One day I’ll assemble a bunch of people and we’ll take a stab at that bar selection.
This place seems to have its strengths and weaknesses, but I am looking forward to running down the whole menu. Local Mexican place -...
Read moreWe ate here for the first time on a Sunday for dinner. We were so hopeful that this would be a nice gem of a place in town, but we won't be back. Beware, if you order water, they bring bottled water & the cost is $2.50 per bottle. I had a margarita ($18!) and they don't put salt/sugar on rim. True to mexican...they don't have hard taco shells. The food was just okay. It did not have a lot of flavor. I had chicken fajitas & I got 3 street taco size corn tortillas with it. Why only 3 tiny ones? The service was not great and the worst part was when we went to use a gift card we were gifted, they said there was no value. They didn't even tell me that, I had to figure out why the $50 wasn't deducted & then had to ask. Just an all around bad experience. Also, their wooden tables are not sealed so we could see food inside all the wood...
