Lukens Park — Attraction in Horsham Township

This park is my daily destination for lunch when I am at work. It's very peaceful and a great way to break up the workday. As my children are are all grown up I rarely ever have need for the type of facilities this Horsham township park offers. The playground equipment is absolutely spectacular. If I did have little ones this would be a place that they would be bugging me to take them all the time. Parking is plentiful. Restroom facilities are available as well as a covered picnic structure. There are also many miles of walking, biking, and equestrian trails and they connect to the popular power line trail which is paved. One nice thing that l noticed as well is the handicapped parking. One of our favorite parks to take our son to! It has some of the coolest playground equipment that I've ever seen. Kids of all age will love it! Heck, I did and i'm a 27 year old father! One of the best parts of the park is, it has a water mister! So on the hot days it gives you a bit of relief. Plus its very family oriented. It has a nice pavilion with tables and benches, and it has nice bathrooms. And one more good thing is it has is, it has separate areas for both the little kiddos and the older ones....

This is such a great park for the kids. Way different than what is offered in New York City. We love the padded cushioned ground, which keeps everyone safe. Everything is clean besides the bathrooms. Plenty of parking available some basketball hoops for the adults or kids even. There are multiple swings, seesaw slides, and the obstacle courses there’s a gate to prevent the kids from getting loose. there is plenty of grass for them to run around. We really wish this was available in New York City.....
