Finish Line RV Park — Attraction in Hot Springs

This place is awesome! Jess and Jacob are amazing - super friendly and helpful! We arrived late into Hot Springs on Thursday night before the eclipse and found the campground we booked was “under construction” so we began calling around to others and no one picked up! I was feeling horrible that I’d didn’t ask more questions before booking the place we had and kept trying other places expecting all to be booked but the only person who picked up at 7:30 pm was Jacob!!! He said they had a last minute cancellation which we could have! He met us at the gate and helped get us settled. We felt like we so lucked out because the spots are level with picnic tables and fire rings. The park is gated and super safe. This place is seriously in a great location. We brought our bikes and there is a greenway that follows the hot springs creek right outside the campground. We biked into downtown easily to explore the national park. It’s roughly 2.5 miles on the greenway. You can’t bike on the sidewalks inside the national park area and the road is kind of scary in the historical area. So, we biked into downtown, locked up our bikes at the visitor center and walked everywhere from there. Amazing! We could bike to many restaurants in the area. We tried the Steinhaus Keller, cafe Kahloo, grateful head pizza, scoops ice cream, brick house grill, track kitchen (walkable), superior bathhouse brewery and the purple cow which were all good! We especially liked the cafe Kahlo and grateful head pizza. Scoops was great ice cream. The farmers market is on Saturday morning right off the greenway and is super cute! We also biked to the race track for a beautiful afternoon and to the casino! So back to the awesome RV park. Did I mention the bathrooms are really nice as well as the laundry facilities? We loved our stay at Finish Line RV Park! The park itself is incredibly well-maintained. We truly thought it had just opened because it was all so clean, nice, etc. We were shocked to find out it had been there for three years!!! I loved the large concrete pads and the grassy areas between each. Every spot has plenty of space! It was quiet while we were there, but the managers/hosts came to check on us with just the right amount of frequency. We were there over Easter weekend and they even had an egg hunt! I was so impressed by that and the kids loved it. BUT I HAVE NOT TOLD YOU THE BEST PART: which is, the location. This RV park is right off of a STUNNING walking/biking trail that connects all the way to Bathhouse Row! We so enjoyed our adventures on this beautiful trail, which follows a wonderful river the entire way. On Saturday, we walked all the way to Bathhouse Row, which takes about an hour, so that we could both enjoy all of the wonderful restaurants and breweries without a care for having to drive back. This whole facility is gated, too, which makes it feel very safe and secure. They even gave us a little goodbye present before we left (we stayed a whole week).
