Absolutely beautiful. This is a sweet little out of the way place to just get some much needed R&R. The only down side is if you tent camp there are no showers on site. That being said there are plenty of truck stops along the way that have showers available for a nominal fee. But with this inconvenience comes the beauty and peace. The camp host on duty are very friendly as are all the travelers you will meet there. Plenty of trails from the very easy to the much experienced hiker. This out of the way hide away far out met my expectations. We look forward...

Beautiful and challenging steep trail for an old guy like me. Very scenic and most of the trail is shaded. I encountered deer, lizards, birds, and many kinds of mushrooms. You will also see many types of colorful rocks covered with moss and or lichen. At the top of the trail is a road with a covered seating area made out of huge rocks that helped cool me off before heating back down the trail. At the base you will find running water from a creek to cool off your feet after...

Hot Springs Creek is full of raw sewage. I know someone that almost lost a hand and his life catching e-coli out of Hot Springs Creek. I caught it out of tributary that runs into Creek and almost died. The city of Hot Springs tore up tributary on my land and paid Cate construction $4500 to fix it and he did nothing. If they had carried out purchase order then everything would flow better. Don't touch anything that creek...
