I am rating this Aldi 5 stars off my personal shopping experience. However I do know for a FACT the only way it has become a 5 star grocery store based on google reviews is because of Tony Ramirez and the team he has trained. Together their hard work has made this store a great place to shop, but beyond shopping experience Tony and his team have accomplished so much more including record low scores on inventory, high sales, and MANY MANY more things. Let's not forget to include battling COVID-19 with bravery (lets NOT forget these workers are on the front line here RISKING their health and their families health everyday for our communities). However STILL as we all know SAFETY is a major issue in this store for the employees and customers. I have first hand seen theft, heard of multiple reports and calls made to HPD and seen some outrageous things occur in and near the store. Thankfully Tony and his staff have ALWAYS handled the situations professionally, safely and quickly (depending on HPD's response it's typically LONG). For that I still review with 5 STARS! This is OUR community it's not perfect we can not control all things, but how many thefts? How many threats? How many assaults? until the security that has been promised after every theft or threat to your employees and customers to be finally hired and put on to protect our front line grocery staff, our community and our families??? How fair is it to send a loved one to a perfectly safe job yet still wonder if they will make it home at the end of their shift? Left to wonder if some idiot would be brave enough to act on one of their MANY verbal threats. Is it fair for me to worry and watch over my shoulder while shopping? Or to have to go out of my way to shop in a secure store? I LOVE Aldi; feeding a large family of 11 isn't easy, but with shopping here I have no financial worries, the food is great and the service is AMAZING at this store! I could go on and on about all the great things, but this review isn't focused towards the great. We know it is a 5 star store because of your amazing employees and GM but what can make this location better? SECURITY! It is very much needed at this location and not the BS security they once had (that's right this location had security before) But at some point Aldi deemed it wasn't needed any longer. What logic was behind that? Did theft go down? I'm sure they did. Because you have left your GM and staff to handle all these ridiculous situations on their own. Which was better than the BS security the store had before... ("Fat David" sitting in the corner on his cellphone). HOWEVER it is not your GM's or ANY employee of Aldi to handle security concerns. So again I ask, What will it take for you guys to own up to this location as great as it is needs security and...

Don't get me wrong I used to LOVE Aldi's but have had problems with orders for delivery or pick up. I ordered delivery ONCE. Meat products arrived with a green tinge around them. Aldi customer service is a joke. Not the fault of local Aldi's it's corporate greed mentality. Ok, so I lost a few bucks on spoiled meat. Years later, today, I order pick up. First time. Never again. Some items out of stock, no problem, they send replacement options. I pick options. Then they asked for 2 more out of stock replacement options, I choose again. They pick but not the first items, again it's meat products. So they have a little link to chat with shopper in real time. I follow up my option choice with a "hey, don't worry about skin or bones either way is fine I just really need the meat" kind of text in chat. Well, the "shopper" didn't do option one or anything else as I had sent in text. Instead he "closed" the shop and basically ignored everything we had communicated. I call customer service, well Aldi's doesn't give you a number to call "to keep prices low" per their automated answer. I call instacart that handles pick up and delivery for Aldi's. Lately I have had a good experience with Instacart and upgraded Aldi's review...
Read moreI love the concept of saving customers money by having to bring your own shopping bags and having locks for the carts. The prices are really good for the quality of the products. I prefer a lot of Aldi's brand items over name brand items. My family shops here once a week. My only concern was one of the cashiers was acting a certain way with my husband. Apparently my husband had visited after working out to grab some snacks and water and the cashier acted as if she didn't want to touch the money he was handing her. She didn't necessarily SAY anything, but it was the way she was reacting to him, as if he was a dirty person. Edit: It has been almost 2 years since I wrote my initial review of this Aldi's. My family still shops here at least once a week. The customer service is 5 star. The manager has been really caring of the customers during this time due to COVID. Yesterday the manager was outside wiping down carts with disinfectant for each customer coming and going. They were also limiting the number of customers in the store. Aldi's check out is really quick so no long wait in a line like at...
