I have trained with Jeanna since 2009. She has trained my daughter and son since then when they were 9 and 6. They are now 17 and 14 and have benefited greatly from their training. As a former Army Airborne Infantry soldier I had high standards for training and she and Mike have surpassed that in there experience and professionalism. It is rare to find a trainer that truly cares about their students and wants to build them up to levels they didn't think possible but that is what you will find at Fight Back Fit. I hate normal work outs like lifting weights or basic cardio. At Fight Back Fit I get to punch and kick out all of my frustrations leaving exhausted and very satisfied with my workout always doing something new and interesting. You are also surrounded by people of all walks of life that have similar goals of being confident in their ability to defend themselves no matter their size, age or natural athletic abilities. Learn from the best and gain the confidence you deserve to walk anywhere freely without fear. I and my family are life long members of Fit Back Fit and consider Jeanna and her staff as dear family...
Read moreI have been training at Fight Back Fitness for over a year now and I love it. I attended the early morning classes twice a week for several months and recently switched to the evening classes. From the moment I stepped through the door I was treated with professionalism. If you have injuries/limitations the coaches work with those in mind. The instructors there are very knowledgeable and they are all passionate about self-defense. I joined with very, very, little experience and all the instructors have taken the time to teach me with patience. The gym offers a free trial class for anyone considering the training. Contact them, they’ll advise you on what to wear (no uniform/belt/GI in our practice; I train in shorts and a gym t-shirt. Some prefer leggings). You are reading these reviews because you are interested. Do yourself a favor and try out a class. If you want to learn and be challenged Fight Back Fitness...
Read moreI walked into Fight Back Fit on a sweltering Monday afternoon in the summer of 2012 weighing in at 340lbs. Jeanna and Mike have helped change my life over the last four years. I’ve been dropping weight ever since and I’m now walking around at a shade over 250lbs. It has been a long hard road but, the journey has been one I wouldn’t trade for the world. Lost weight, got in shape (they are not the same thing), made friends, and added new tools to the toolbox along the way.
Every day a FBF is a learning experience. You are going to learn some new skill or learn something about yourself and your ability that you didn’t know. You won’t find better instructors or instructors who care more about your success in fitness goals or self-defense. There are no participation awards. You will work hard. But you’ll feel the rewards in confidence, stamina,...
