Today I scheduled an appointment at 9:15 a.m. for a comprehensive exam at the Brighton dental location on Westheimer Road. Upon my arrival I was advised after waiting about 15 minutes that I had a collection amount owed a to them $450 for a service back in June of 2023. The manager who told me I had a balance advised me that as far as she could see I owed zero and indicated that my account had been paid off. However, since her computer showed I owed them money they refuse to fulfill the scheduled appointment.. She told me that I had to call their corporate office to get that cleared up and have a zero balance on their end before they could give me any services. That made no sense since she advised me I had a zero balance and owed them nothing. I was nonetheless not very happy as I've never received any phone calls indicating that I owed any balance whatsoever. She even advised me that she didn't even have an account number that went to their collection agency to for the outstanding debt. I called their corporate office from the parking lot outside their office and spoke to a representative there who after 15 minutes of researching and speaking to his supervisor advised me that I had no balance due whatsoever for any services with Brident dental. I asked him to stay on the line with me so I could hand the phone over to the manager and have him advise her of what his findings were. After a short conversation with the representative on the phone the manager advised me that they still would not honor my appointment today because although corporate indicated on their end that there was no balance and no collection whatsoever she still could not honor my appointment because it still shows I owed them $450. She advised me that maybe it was a glitch within their system but until they got it cleared up they couldn't give me any dental service at all. I advised her it was not my problem that they had a glitch in the system and that after she asked me to call the corporate number and to speak to a representative to get this cleared up which they did she still wouldn't honor my appointment. After that ridiculous conversation and everything I went through to get this cleared up I decided it was not worth my time to stay there and be disrespected. The good news is I found another dentist accepted my insurance and took care of my dental needs today. Their office is closer to my home and their staff treated me with respect. I would not recommend the Brident Dental office at this location on Westheimer to anybody and if you do decide to go there I urge you to double check your payment(s) so they don't have a "glitch" with your account and give you...
Read morewhatever you do stay away from Brident Dental, even if they offer free service I would refuse it. The customer service team that’s replying to bad experiences on the reviews is BS too, they knew the office made a mistake & just apologized because a solution was out of their control. (Useless phone line) There are highly incompetent people that work at this location, starting with the receptionist Kimberley on up to the “manager” Rebecca. Very unprofessional & she also refused to offer a solution to their grade 3 level education receptionist’s mistake. I called customer service, the grievance dept and still no solution. Brident is operated by Western Dental so just stay away from all of them. It definitely makes you question the credibility of the doctor’s here too because of the piss poor management representing them. Obviously the poor quality begins with Western Dental & they don’t have a desire to please their customers even after admitting they messed up. Basically I called to reschedule an appt where I was getting my braces off & the clown receptionist “rescheduled” for the day I wanted but put it was for an adjustment. BIG DIFFERENCE. And when they called to confirm 3 times in one day it was the wrong time & they also told me they couldn’t take my braces off when that’s what I rescheduled for. TIP: A professional company’s solution would be to have me come in earlier to allow time for the service I booked for, so please take the word professional off your website. They only offered me to come in a month later which I can’t so now I’m looking for another orthodontist to take my braces off. & yes they still want me to pay for the complete treatment. Never experienced a medical service provider this trash & if you’re thinking of going to them I wouldn’t. It sucks when you think you’re handling your business & reschedule 3 weeks in advance just to find out they didn’t. They scheduled a whole new appt for a service I didn’t need or ask for, but something the receptionist assumed. This should be a huge learning experience for the little girls because as an appt taker you NEVER make assumptions. Listen to & follow the medical records always because medical needs aren’t to be decided by a...
Read moreTHE WORSTE dental business I’ve ever been too. I would leave if I hadn’t already paid for my braces in full Bc I have no option of getting my money back. I’ve been schedule twice and when I went to the appointment they told me they couldn’t see me because they couldn’t find my appointment . Even though I had a confirmation text. I was also schedule to the orthodontist when one of my brackets popped off. I get to the office and the orthodontist wasn’t even there that day. Another time I came in to talk to the orthopedic surgeon & when I got to the office I waited an hour and 45 minutes before the doctor (a verrry friendly and knowledgeable woman) came and spoke to me: she then proceeded to tell me that she was sorry they made me come in because they took the wrong kind of x ray & she couldn’t consult with me until I had the correct image. the ortho surgeon only comes in once a month so I had to wait a whole month before I could even see here again… The office makes mistakes and expects you to just come in another day to remedy the problem they caused, like their patients don’t have jobs they have to be at. I literally have been written up for how many times I have had to miss work recently. The office seems not to communicate with each other about their patients, and seem to either be understaffed or under trained or both. With the exception of a realllly nice young black woman that sits up front (her name slips my mind) that genuinely seems to want to help fix the errors that occur most seem not too worried about patient culture. Expect an hour Wait past your scheduled appointment everytime you come. I pray you don’t choose to come here. If you’re me coming Bc it’s in your network- if you can afford it , just pay the extra money to go elsewhere. You will surely be disappointed.
Not to mention the orthodontist pulled a front tooth Bc she thought another tooth was growing in behind it… 13 months later it seems as if the tooth is actually fused to my bone and won’t ever replace to the tooth she pulled , so now I have a missing front tooth I have to buy an implant for. Which isn’t cheap to say the least. It’s been a complete nightmare that I’m stuck in Bc...
