Yesterday, we returned some shirts that didnāt fit and exchanged them for new t-shirts. Instead of processing it as a replacement, the store charged our credit cards again. When we followed up with them, they claimed the refund had been issued, but the money never appeared on our credit card statements.
The storeās customer serviceāespecially the store managerāwas extremely poor. When we pointed out that stores like Walmart, Ross, and those in the mall usually process refunds within an hour or 24 hours at most, they told us to come back the next day if the refund didnāt show up. Today, when we returned and said we still hadnāt received the refund, the manager dismissed the issue and said it was now between us and our bank.

I waived this off and continued shopping as I was looking for something very quickly. At 10:22 another employee searched for me to tell me the store is closed. I asked her name and why would the store be closed 8 minutes prior to the posted close time at 10:30. I asked more quesitons and came to learn that the manager on duty, Isam or Isan, always closes the store earlier than the posted times on his shift.
I didn't confront him about it because my first two interactions with the other employees were a bit unpleasant and I was ready to go. At the register, he was counting the drawers at approximately 10:24.
