Nice park. Secluded and quiet. 2 hour street parking directly adjacent to the park. Permit parking only in the surrounding neighborhood. There’s two tennis courts, two basketball courts (half-courts), playground. Lots of benches and concrete picnic tables.

There was some Asian guy that was standing on the court while my friends and I were playing basketball ball. He never took off his jacket, blocked really well though.

Love it. Nice and quiet. Just a lot of mosquitoes because it was wet outside 😩

Just reviewing the park and play area not including the baseball field or basketball hoops.

The park is of decent size and when we went, there were not a lot of people. (We came on a Tuesday evening at around 6 PM.) In that respect, it was good. There were probably 3 other families who had a kid or two. There is plenty of equipment for the kiddos to play on, but the only reason why I deducted a star is because the equipment is rather old and outdated. I think it definitely needs a facelift. The slide is still the old school metal sheet that I remember when growing up. It is not fenced it, but the park is in an area where there are not a lot of cars...

Went on a Saturday and it was super packed. There was a toddler soccer class going on in the field and someone from the neighborhood was having a birthday party. Both tennis courts were occupied and we were the first in line for the basketball court, which is a half size court that has four hoops on it. That being said, the park was really cute (small) and a great place if you have a very young kids as the play structure would not keep an older kid occupied. They also had a low-lying tree that lots of kids were climbing. Despite the crowd, we had a great time and Will...

I have spent many times at this park with my daughter. It’s smaller than other kid parks in the city buts perfect for us. No long waits to use anything on offer. It’s easy for parents to play with their kid or let them roam and watch from a bench. You can easily monitor your kid and how they interact with others.

There are no restrooms 🚽 so that can be a down side but it’s close to Rice Village, Rice University, and other places you could use a bathroom.

The picking area is nice. I have seen a few people host parties for their little ones there. It looks like a good...
