this place is dope.....a campus watering hole, if you will. great for people with all kinds of preferences. the food is pretty nice, too (might i recommend the peach danish?). the music here can be a wide variety, everything from lil boosie to spoken word to hamilton: the musical.

Rice University's beloved and quirky coffeehouse where students and faculty gather for great specialty coffee from Katz at insanely cheap prices. The cafe has a great university culture surrounding it which gives it a great energy, but also keeps it generally quite full. Love love love Rice coffeehouse! Prices are cheaper than any other coffeeshop I've been to! Definitely tailored for a student experience, as the drink selection can be quite sweet, but there's something for everyone and it's a great study and socialization space. I love to come do work here or catch up with friends. It can get busy at times but that's expected of any coffeeshop on a college campus.
