great spot to study. quiet and peaceful. free strong wi-fi for visitors and there are multiple parking lots nearby. temperature in the building is perfect too. the campus is beautiful. i was really glad this mcnair hall was opened on a sunday. unfortunately the fondren library doesn't take visitors until end of Jan 2022 and the rice coffeehouse nearby was closed as well. i want to come back here again during weekdays and explore the campus. and my friend who goes to rice told me that there is a library here too on the second floor, which is currently under construction. and for the building itself they won't kick you out but after 6pm or so you cannot re-enter without the access card. i haven't checked out other floors yet, but i...

Studied business here. Don't regret a single minute. The odd-shaped building itself is about to get a major makeover. The beautiful brick walls, designed by Robert A. M. Stern, are going to be obscured behind the glass and concrete curtain walls of the new building. Only the conspicuous projecting pavilion will remain exposed.
