The Dandelion cafe is located inside the O’Connor Building for Engineering and Science at Rice University. They’re closed on the weekends because most customers are students, faculty, and university staff. I have come here multiple times, sometimes just to work. As a visitor, the best place to park would be Founder’s Court (search Google for Rice University campus map) with a few minute walk. Quite honestly, I don’t find Dandelion coffee great (I recommend CoffeeHouse or Audrey’s, also on campus, instead). Dandelion is still developing their menu, so there are other types of drinks that could be worth trying! The prices are a bit high, but the food is good! My pictures give a pretty good representation of what the place looks like at noon (busiest). If you’re visiting Rice University, definitely come see Dandelion and the new, beautiful building it is within (there is art to see).

Good food good drinks good vibes. The drinks we tried were all the right balance of flavors and goodness! The hazelnut oatmilk latte was soooooo good, it was my husband's but I kept asking for another sip it was so good! We're newly relocated back to Houston from a 15 year hiatus to Portland Oregon where we were spoiled with espressos always on point and dialed in, this latte brought me back...so yummy and beautiful :) I had the golden milk and it was really nice as well. The food was next level! I tried the portabello sandwich and all the flavors were amazing! My taste buds were overjoyed! Hubby ordered the chicken & biscuits and I definitely shared a few bites! The vibe was cool and the people even cooler! It's nestled on Rice campus so not as easy to get to but if you find your way there it's a nice treat for the budz...

Dandelion Cafe on Rice University's campus is an absolute gem, offering a warm, inviting atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot to study or a casual place to meet friends, this cafe delivers. The menu features a great variety of coffee and food options, with standout items like smooth, perfectly brewed coffee and fresh, locally sourced dishes like avocado toast. Their seasonal latte was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the pastries were light and delicious.
