I called to try to see how to get this fixed and if any cost. They refused to tell me the cost. I haf to look up online. She lied and said thwy had no prices set. the lady Rumi or Lumi is rude and would not transfer me back to the owner.

I had to end the call and call back twice because they put the phone off the receiver. Now they wont let another stylist fix this hack job and want Rose to fix it.

Don't go here, run far away. They will complain about time while you sit in their chair make you feel like the issue. i felt miserable and each staff member is rude. No one actual cares about business just moneym

I called and asked for an apt and said I wanted a long layered bob cut with some texture. They said ok and the apt was booked.

When I arrived I stated my haircut style and showed multiple images. I repeatedly stated throughout the entire interaction what I wanted for my hair. I was pressured into getting colors and highlights.

I tried to stick to just the haircut but they pressured me more and I agreed at the price of 70. Rose first stated 100 but as I was hesitant She said 70. The reason being I was to have my base hair Dyed reded and then highlights that where purple or different red.

I kept stating I do not want to be a brunette anymore. Normally I Dye my own hair at home with no issues.. I was really nervous as she didn't seem to listen at all. When dying my hair she ignored me when I told her where I knew more Dye was needed for my thicker areas. The result was my hair being brown and just some red highlights.

I will include what I was promised to try and get the colors versus what I wanted.

Now to the haircut. I showed multiple images. I stated many times and explained I wanted a Long layered bob with some texture on the back.

The hair cut is uneven. The back is uneven and now has to be retouched. It has long stands over the back that are distarcting and obviously uneven.

This is layered but not long. They cut more than I said to and did so as they wanted to leave. They stated more than once they cared about going home than fixing their mistakes.

Please never go here. The person cutting my hair doesn't even work there full time or as a full employee but just helps out. I do not know if she has a cosmetic certification.

They were the only salonist in the salon. Had I known that I would have not booked here.

Now I look like freak and I am crying. I have To find another salon to get this retouched for highlights and the back cut even.

Please go elsewhere. Below is the color they said they could give and this is what she did instead. It isn't the hair cut ..she cut ut ev more shorter. Just showing the colors I ended and said she could do versus...

I am very upset with this place. This is my second time going here. First time was last year and I asked the hairstylist to trim about a couple inches off and she did just that. And I was happy with it.

I rarely get a haircut. I only go in for a hair trim because I like long hair and I go I probably once a year. This time around there was a different hairstylist. I believe her name was Rose or Rosy.

I told her I wanted to trim maybe 5-6inches. She shows the amount of hair that is and looks about right. She asked if I wanted layers and I said thats fine. Just a little. I don’t like layers but thought a little bit of it wouldn’t hurt. She then started making conversation with me. The next thing I know I saw a bunch long strains of hair on the group and as she was trimming and cutting I saw how short my hair was. I was terrified. I told her that my hair was way too short. At some point I told her to stop fixing it. She still try to fix it but trimming and cutting some more. She wanted to style my hair and said I would look younger with this hairstyle. I never ask her to look younger or style my hair. I just want a simple cut 5-6inches off. She didn’t do that and I believed she chopped off almost 15 inches from my hair. I was upset.

When I went up front to pay, the guy at the front desk probably the owner heard my concerning voice about my hair and asked “is everything okay”. I said no it’s not. My hair is too short. He responded “well I hope it grow fast”

I could have just walk out and not pay but I didn’t. I paid and still tip 10% because I just can’t see myself not paying. I’m still upset at how much I lost my hair and the unprofessionalism this place is. I understand that an Asian salon doesn’t always give good experience and I would rather them be rude to me than chop off my hair that I can’t get back. I contemplated about writing this review thinking that it wouldn’t bring back my hair but I decided that someone need to see this and be careful next time you’re getting your hair cut here.

If I could rate a No-Star, I would. I went to Hair Lovers Salon and had been there a few times before. Helen seemed very nice the times before when I started going to see her during COVID-19. The last time I went to her, I asked her to highlight my hair and she colored it a different color than what I asked her for. She then showed me the color she was supposed to have used in my hair, but the color my hair was completely different from the color she showed me and said she had used. She told me she would have to order more color for my hair and I would need to go back in two weeks for her to be able to fix it. Helen never called back so I called her to find out if she had received the color in, that she needed to fix my hair.

She then told me that she was not confident to color my hair and could not fix it for me, after she colored it the wrong color, yet advertises her hair coloring and highlighting expertise. I feel that she colored my hair the wrong color on purpose. She is a bit pushy, did not listen to what I asked her for, and her staff is rude to customers as well. I thought she was very unprofessional, untruthful and did not operate in good faith. She ruined my hair and then refused to fix it. Had I not called her back, she would have never called me to let me know she did not want to do my hair or could not color it for me.
