Today I had to visit Dr. Rowe about something and because she looked like me I felt comfortable enough to say, “ Dr. Rowe I think I’m tripping” this lady looked at me and said ( paraphrasing) no your not tripping this is your body and you felt something. Now we just need to just deep dive and figure out what it is. It was probably such a small statement to her, but to me it was everything. So many times I have felt things and I didn’t feel like my doctor took me seriously. Dr. Rowe ALWAYS has made me feel seen & heard. She is always suggesting better ways to help certain situations and natural ways to maintain my health not always pushing medicine. She is the epitome to me of why representation matters. I feel so safe with her. She shares that she’s a real person and personal experiences to make me feel comfortable. I’m so proud to be her patient, and so grateful for her. I’m sure the whole staff is just as caring and attentive. They aren’t perfect but they are the perfect office for me. I chose this clinic as my new primary care provider because of one thing, Dr. Rowe! Patient care is her primary focus and she is the most thorough, professional, and caring individuals that I have ever met. Nowadays when you go to the doctor you are treated like a number, not a patient. She has the complete opposite approach, and reminds me of how it used to be before big insurance companies dictated treatment. My wife and children will all be going to her clinic going forward. I don’t have health insurance at the moment and I am considered a self pay patient. Her costs are extremely reasonable and for the level of service she provides I would pay double her rate.
