Hello guys and gals, as I sat on my overall visit here, at the little red one shop- I had to take into account that “my outer experience is a reflection of my internal condition” and so I’ll go on to say, that upon arriving... as soon as you walk in, the energy and vibration of this place was quite negative or even very very low.. (as an introvert myself, I get nervous around others in confined spaces..) That’s why I immediately spoke to lighten up the place... because I began to feel so standoffish.. as they were.. but I then saw that each person, who came in, was also picking up on those same vibes.. energy doesn’t lie.. I mean really..
Note: as I entered the door I immediately spoke, saying hello to everyone in there.. I couldn’t hear a hello back, so I take it, no one heard me or just that they didn’t care.. well it’s the latter, they didn’t care.. because about 5 other patrons entered and were also not greeted nor did they speak. So first impressions were not well.. however, I was in shopping for a client and had a list of items to get and why not, I was only wanting to support my local black establishment.. truthfully all things I bought could have been purchased elsewhere for less..
The customer -not funny- was more helpful than the pair, who were working there.. I will say, I found most, if not all or substitutes of the items I was there looking for and I even bought a three tarot card reading.. it was general to say the least and not yet fulfilling.. but I’m sure the young lady picked up on that.. her reading was somewhat correct as she explained the cards, but I’m a descriptive type of person as you know from this post lol..She did misread the reversal card.. but anyway... very general to say the least.. I repeat..
Before I left and proceeded to checkout... I fancied some charms that were $3 each- I asked the young man and young lady, if I could grab a handful for the amount of the $3 and he first told me no- then I replied, I’m about to spend nearly $200 and as a person who’s wanting to be a repeat customer, would like to bargain in an incentive.. customer service 101.. especially if you want customer’s to come back.. & or leave great reviews.. saying-please and thank you while offering a kind, comfortable atmosphere, a polite demeanor and maybe throw in a discount or a clearance sale item..
Well anyway, the guy soon obliged after much complaints on his behalf. (Handful for $6).. Thereafter he was much more helpful and hands on, more or so than his counterpart.. But then she too ended up turning things around, by offering bath cleansing salts.. (which I didn’t buy) she could have threw in a sample bag as a thank you gift..
(I do appreciate the charms discount and your package wrapping paper and the eco friendly brown bags.. thank you all for that-) (small suggestion though huns, invest in small handheld shopping baskets for customers ease of transactions and shopping experience)...
Overall, they had a Equal mind frame for making a buck, because they think like that one wouldn’t be there, unless “they” truly needed or wanted to buy something from them, (in their heads).. Seriously I could have left all of the items and walked away.. but this here experience, should teach them, how, every human being, entering their door, deserves to be treated as a blessing, in their success story.. this isn’t me being harshly judgmental.it’s simply called a review📝
Namaste...
Read moreSo I’m new to Houston. And obviously into the metaphysical, and I’m learning. So I hopped on google and got to searching shops. I came across this one. Of course I read the reviews. Several of which stated the staff wasn’t that friendly and customer service may have been poor. And prices not so fair. I was skeptical, but as always in life, I judge for myself.... I am all about supporting family and local businesses! Now to address the people stating the prices were unfair. Firstly, I would hope you know that these particular types of items, for lack of better term, are pricey regardless. I myself didn’t find prices to be too far from the expected. Sure maybe I could find my herb a dollar cheaper somewhere else. But I’d gladly pay double to support this family. And I think that’s what you have to be willing to accept and understand. This is a family just trying to make it. You wanna put your money towards that or whole sale on Amazon?! THIS SHOP IS AMAZING! As I mentioned before I am learning. As I stepped through the door, I needed a moment to adjust. The energy in this place was overwhelming, not in a bad way. In fact, I feel energy’s but I can’t sort them out yet. It just kinda turns into a anxiety. I came with intent and a list of items, and was only unable to find one thing. The herb selection is like none I had ever seen. The crystal/gemstone selection is pretty good as well. Every single staff member greeted me with warmness, and we even had some laughs. I am so so happy I found this hidden gem! I will gladly go back! My favorite part was walking out and it seemed like the head of their family gave me a personal fair well. The couple was busy carrying in supplies and was still so courteous! Read moreI spent the weekend in Houston and was looking for something to do before hopping on a plane back home. After seeing a metaphysical store elsewhere, I researched Houston-area stores and came across two I was interested in -- I came here first and let me tell you, I did not need to go to the second! It smelled so good inside. I was interested in picking up an herbal smoke blend which the young woman blended for me on the spot based on what I was looking to do with it. I browsed and also picked up a cute tarot deck, a fancy, crystal-handle tea spoon, and a Third Eye/truth oil. I left feeling in uncanny alignment, a great close to a solo trip focused on introspection and self-reconnection.
I will recommend this place to anyone who ever travels that way and will definitely visit again if I am ever in the area...
