Date of Exam: 23-April-2020
I have taken several certification exams in different centers and I think it's important that you understand that the conditions of this particular location is not suited for the important exams that need to be taken here and I'd advise any test taker to take their exam elsewhere.
These are the facts about the location and my experience there, no exaggeration or emotional response in 3 points.
The location is facing a major freeway and is very loud. There is some headphones provided but it is not significant to diminish the noise which is distracting.
There is no separation from the office space and the testing space, meaning that every time the office door closes or phone rings or a conversation is had the test takers can all hear it. The only separation these two spaces have is a thin glass pane that is not completely sealed. I was surprised that they are allowed to operate this way, it's never been my experience in other locations. Furthermore, the staff attending to all 8+ test takers (when I was there) who had taken the exam consisted of 1 single woman who simultaneously answered the phones, walked the test takers to their exam seats, signed in testers, and also troubleshooted any problems. I found that she was not professional and would regularly leave her seat to answer private calls on her cellphone. I raised my hand twice and neither occasion did she acknowledge the fact that a test taker required attention.
Lastly, the INTERNET service went out while I was there and ALL test takers were unable to advance on their exams until the routers and each computer was manually restarted individually! This was incredible to me and once again, the single staffer spent about 20 minutes getting everyone logged in. This was a huge distraction and I found it shocking that this was allowed to happen on the property. The administrator said this happens quote "all the time" and not to worry.
When I left the exam room after finishing the exam, she did not offer the completion receipt that is standard until I had to directly ask for it. She stated that they don't normally do that. I again asked for it and she finally printed it for me. After leaving as the final test taker, I read that I must register my complaint in the office I returned to see that she had closed the office early and was walking to the parking lot.
Please take corrective steps to adjust the expectations of this testing center because it opens up the testing program and the students to possible consequences. Listen to the reviews below and take your test for the exact same price...
Read moreI had to go multiple times as I did not pass on my first attempt. I get extremely anxious during testing anyways, add to my anxiety I'm in my 9th month of pregnancy. The employees cheer you on, wish you good luck, and follow up when you're leaving (good news or not, they care). Today I took the last part of my real estate exam. I left my home to be there 30 minutes early so I could cram even more into my already overloaded brain in the parking lot. I got caught behind an accident and ended up being 20 minutes late for my exam and couldn't get in the building. I emailed because phone were down. Quincy King could have easily told me I was more than 15 minutes late and I would need to make another appointment, they had a lot of people in there. Instead, he called me and told me he would get me in to take my test. He quite literally made my whole month better. I really wanted to complete this chapter before the new baby comes and because of him, I did! Thank you Quincy for going over and beyond. You are the exact type of individual that any company should be SO VERY PROUD to have.
Also, the facility is nice and a great place to take any proctored exam you need. The staff makes it that...
Read moreDO NOT TEST HERE!!! I went here on Friday, December 30th to take my Texas Real Estate exam. The instructions say to be there 30 minutes early so myself and my husband got there at 9: 30 for my 10:00 exam. No one was there. We tried the door and it was locked and no one answered when we knocked. We called and no one answered and their voicemail was full ( it still is today so they obviously don't monitor that closely). We went back to the car and waited until 10 and tried again. The door was still locked and no one answered when we knocked. When we went back to the car at this point, we tried calling again but no one answered. I sent them an email that no one has answered. I contacted Pearson Vue about this and got an email from them saying they contacted the testing center and they said they were open and testing on that day so they are unable to refund my money for the test. Do not use this testing center as they are very...
