Cannot give this place a good review. I will say that the park was in great condition for riding. The reason for the one star is there customer service (workers). To the Hispanic guy with the “man bun”, when someone asks you when the BMX track opens, don’t ask them what the posting says and smirk and walk away. Exactly what happened. This was our first time here, and our former home track in AZ was very helpful and understanding of you were new. This guy could care less. We asked a bigger Hispanic girl how we get to the bleachers, and she wasn’t enthusiastic to help either lol.(rockstar is big and can be confusing, especially if you’re used to a smaller track). The lady that took our $40 for the race clinic was nice, no problems with her. There were no concessions open, so that was a bummer too. I mis-read the “Park Rules” sign about food and drinks, and didn’t drop at the store to get water, so my son while practicing did without. The clinic we paid $40 for my son to attend was a joke. We paid $40 for him to ride up a hill, stretch, so we just left, wasn’t wasting our time with that. My son builds his leg strength at home, he also stretches and warms up before practicing as well. This wasn’t supposed to be a beginner clinic…it was. Anyways, the place itself, very nice. Management is probably experiencing a shortage of good staff in these times, so what to ya do? Needless to say, Desoto BMX is 3 1/2 hours from where I live In magnolia, and we will just be going there instead. These people didn’t care for...

My son and I came to check out this bike park after leaving the skate park just a minute down the road from it. We wanted to register for our cards and take a look around.
According to Google Maps, they were "busier than normal"; upon arrival the parking lot was empty except for two or three employee vehicles. The gate was open and there was a receptionist passing by. She gave us our forms to fill out along with two clipboards and pens. We sat at one of the picnic tables to fill out our forms which took 5-10 minutes. We then went back to the reception area and no one was near except two small dogs barking at us through the window. We walked around for another ten minutes hoping to find an employee with no luck. We even came across a young gentleman in the concession area but he was restocking drink and food items and was not employed by the park. We ended up leaving with no way to give back the clipboards, pens and forms as the counters are designed to open outward.
The park itself is absolutely stunning and spotless. I don't think I saw a single piece of trash anywhere! I would give a 5 star review if it hadn't been for the frustration in having to search high and low with no luck finding an employee to finalize our...
Read moreBowl section of the park is awesome! In my opinion though, the pump tracks have no rythm, the outer edge trails/pump track need serious work. The table tops on the left side of the dirt jumps need work.. they’re too steep on the lips for how flat the landings are, so it’s hard to maintain speed off the first jump. the Street section was nice. Overall good expierence, I do think teaching the little ones on park etiquette and showing them how to help maintain the dirt jumps would be helpful but pretty cool to see Houston put money into a park of...
