BEWARE! Dont expect to visit the Space Center and go on both tours. Booked tickets online for entry which skips the lines, didnt know to book the tours in advance. Arrived and booked the morning tour. At this point we were mislead by incorrect information at the "help" desk. Upon booking the blue tour we were told to come back and book the white tour once it was completed or via the app. Heres what they dont tell you... when you leave on the train the app knows you arent near the plaza and removes the option to book the next tour. Even when you are on the first or second tour of the morning, by the time you get back from it the afternoon tour is already booked up. This is extremely misleading and very disappointing as some of our party had traveled from Ireland to get the full experience. Manager was no help either, however dont expect anything less from a government entity. That being said the astronauts training tour, SaturnV rocket, space shuttle and "American broomstick" was...

The tours typically move pretty quickly despite the lines seeming long. Two gift shops and places to eat with snacks.
The membership allows you to schedule things days in advance and they even had a volunteer who was there during the launch thats very willing to answer questions. Theyre a nonprofit that gets all the old stuff from nasa and uses it for education. Even got to touch a moon rock and they have plenty of stuff for kids. Got a nasa pin from the gift shop. A little pricey but good quality.
You might want to put on some bug repellent before going on the trams outside. Got eaten up by mosquitoes, but I feel thats more of a texas thing than a space center thing, coming from a coloradan.
Solid. 4.7 outta 5. A lotta walking and a little confusing to navigate sometimes but...
Read moreIt is so great that this location is always updating to see new and exciting information regarding space travel. The only downsides is I went during a time when we don't have our own rockets flying, and the shuttle program has ended, so there are some features of the facility that track active missions that are not as active at the moment. The tours into NASA are fun, but I was here during a government shutdown, so there was nobody actually working to watch. It is great that they have added the building over at Rocket park to protect the Saturn V rocket they have on display there and preserver a piece of our history. As an added bonus, they had the old Galileo 5 Shuttle prop from Star Trek TOS on display in the cafe when I was visiting. It is sad that they don't regularly offer visits to the Training Pool, but since there are not many missions happening right now, there may not be much to see as of...
