Indigo Moons — Attraction in Houston

DONT TRUST THIS PLACE!! I’d started going to this shop not too long ago.. only to be angrily disappointed and GROSSED out when I find LIVE BUGS in not one but TWO separate containers of herbs I’ve purchased from here… dried herbs…. And not even a few bugs, I’m talking a whole colony's worth… little worms in my roses..beetles in my lavender…also 90% sure in yet another bag I bought there were eggs attached to some leaves.. but the more I think about it I’m almost positive those were eggs because there’s no way there were THAT many bugs in the herbs when I bought them…I’m not an expert but if dried properly aren’t the bugs supposed to basically burn or freeze off???? I know infestations happen sometimes.. but to find bugs in three different herbs i buy, for my bottle of lavender to be literally SWARMING with beetles…….so gross. To think I literally used some of these herbs in my bath water…… I’m never going here again.

UPDATE: in response to the owner, even though I too was beyond surprised and disappointed, I stand by my opinion, Telling me I should’ve just called and would have gotten a refund? That is not what I want, I am sorry to hurt your “reputation” but I don’t want people like me to have the same fate. To indulge on a spiritual journey is one thing, but to be a haven for spiritual aids and healing, and then have issues like this that you’d prefer to just sweep under the rug, is why I wrote this review. I do not doubt that your employees are beyond helpful and too want to maintain good relationships with customers, but after this experience there would be no reason not to doubt the trust I have in this place, especially since three different products all had different species of bugs. I can’t even seem to find information about the origins of your products on the website. I wrote this review because as someone who just barely got into spirituality, I automatically assumed this was a place I could trust, especially by the looks of it. As someone new, I came to this place to shop for my needs at leisure with no worry or doubt in my mind about the authenticity of what I’m buying. Considering authenticity and purity as something spirituality was founded on, I can’t help but question the authenticity...

I had a really great time here at their store. I came here twice in a row once alone and along with my sister. Everyone is generally friendly and nice despite my sister and I asking tons of questions and taking my time with picking my items to buy. One thing to note is that the store's incense/smell is quite strong but still pleasant and even to this day, the smell is burnt to my memory (and also on the items I bought).

I came by because I planned on coming on a Saturday, but heard about their sale on Friday 29th with a free goodie box but was sad to miss it since I had work that day and couldn't come. However, all of a sudden, there was a sudden power outage in the entire area which included where I worked and we all were sent home. Then I had a feeling that I had to come to the store since I had time!

I also came by for a reading for 15 minutes with a kind woman who did a reading for me about my spiritual journey and any other messages the Universe wanted to give me. I was pleasantly surprised when they remembered me even though I only came by to their store for the first time on October 29th for their sale. We wrapped up the reading in about 15 minutes but questions, advice, and explanations did take up a bit more time above 15 minutes and wasn't charged extra for that and I found that quite nice of them despite me taking more time and energy above the time I paid for. Definitely would recommend...

Definitely my favorite metaphysical shop I’ve visited so far! They have a great selection on all kinds of things from crystals, candles, oils, jewelry, bath salts, Sage/Palo Santo, etc. The owners are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, & will go out of their way to help you in any way possible. Plus if you’re a newbie, they aren’t judgmental AT ALL (unlike other shops...). You can tell they love what they do, & it’s a beautiful reflection of their business overall. Jeremy is AMAZING w/wire wrapping. He wrapped my Moldavite necklace, & it’s honestly perfect! Misty also helped me get ready for the Super Flower Blood Moon, & she gave me sooo many tips, advice, & knowledge on which products would represent what I was trying to achieve. She didn’t rush me even tho the store was packed, she genuinely wanted to make sure I was getting everything I needed, & my questions were answered.
