Insomnia Gallery — Attraction in Houston

I recently had the chance to attend the neon art opening at Insomnia Gallery, and it was an absolute delight for the senses. Located in the bustling Hardy Nance building, the gallery is home to a variety of art studios, making it the perfect setting for this exciting showcase of luminous works.

As soon as I stepped through the doors, I was struck by the electric atmosphere. Ok, 1st off this place has several different Art shows through out the year & they also have a store attached to it for misc. Pieces. The Art shows are a little small, or at least the horror show I went to but there was a lot of great work from a lot of different artist. These pics's are just some of the artist's work that was at this show. Oh yeah, I know that 1 of the things that they promote is bringing kids, dogs, etc. But I don't suggest either 1 for show nights just because it is small & some shows are more busy than others but to each there own I guess. Great local artist work, I highly suggest you really taking a look at the detail on some of these designs cause my pics. I've been coming to this business ever since it first opened on 1960. After searching for another place similar to Insomnia, I can honestly say that it is one of a kind. Whether it be a vinyl collectible, or an art print, or even a wall scroll, this place is what you're looking for. Spanning wall to wall with a vast selection of blindboxes, art, and plushies, you can get whatever your heart desires. Also, recently, owner of the establishment Chris has started selling local artists' work, and it's great to see people like Ackzilla, Nicky Davis and Esy right next to Attack on Titan, Soul Eater, and Sword Art Online merchandise. This is one place I will come back to over and over again. My ONLY complaint is that they sell out of stuff WAY...
