I'm giving this place 5 stars because it's exactly as advertised -- plants and coffee. Not a coffee aficionado's go-to but a welcome addition to the area nonetheless. Just one consumer's opinion:
The good Coffee: 4/5 stars - The coffee itself is tasty, I'd give their lattes a solid 4/5 stars mainly because the flavor combinations are strong but overpower the espresso - a sweet treat for the coffee world's uninitiated but at the expense of the espresso enthusiast. -Plant selection: 5/5 stars - Tons of low-light plant options plus the typical window and deck varietals. Selection varies in size from desktop figs, calathea, ponytail palms, pothos, dieffenbachia, and the larger plants (even trees) including huge birds of paradise, giant taro, fiddle leaf figs (elephant ears), and palms. Food quality: 5/5 stars -Very good pastries on the days I've been, and I understand that they have rotating vendors. Atmosphere: 5/5 stars - Dog-friendly. Love the plants and the arrangement of seating around the plants. Their chill music is at the perfect level and it looks like they also bring in acoustic or other ambient music artists on occasion. Location: 5/5 stars - Honestly might be my favorite new shopping center with the pizza place, tap room, smoothie shop, ice cream and popsicles store, thrift shop, little grocery store, Italian restaurant (coming soon), print shop, a barber shop...they have it all in one place.
The less good Food selection: 2/5 stars - Again, I know it's not advertised as a restaurant or even cafe, but a bite to eat is just something most people have come to expect in their local coffee spots. Very small selection of high quality pastries here could be improved with hot dishes or even the option to have something brought from any of the other shops in the building. Plant price: 3/5 stars - The plants here are priced about how you'd expect to see a boutique plant store in the heights. The standard medium-small sized desktop plant is generally between $28-50, which should probably be in the $10-20 range at any garden center. You're paying for convenience and a memory associated with a fun coffee run. The larger figs from what I could see were in that $900+ price range but they're true behemoths that would require 10+...
Read moreToday I went into Eden Plant coffee to make a purchase after I made my purchase. I was standing in line for 30 minutes waiting for an order that I never received. When I then asked the employee what would be the result of my order she tells me that she can help me and that she can just give me back my money. She talked, rude, cruel, and ugly to me. I have footage on my phone that I recorded as well as they have cameras in the company. I do not recommend this place for family or people with children. The lady was extremely rude and out of line. I walked in at 11:00 AM today and left at 11:36. She was rude vulgar. And cussed at me apparently she is the manager she has red hair And was talking to a gentleman by the name of Josh on the phone turned out that there was a system error after 36 minute she never let us now I had to listen and overhear her having a conversation as she was duck down hiding behind the counter, instead of letting the customers know what was going on, I have Footage of everything including the customers in the area and the two employees that were apparently on staff. I am going to share this footage to every social media outlet and every person that I know I am a worker of Chase I have come into this business in spent hundreds of dollars ordering for large conference groups, and I promise you that your name, and this video will be posted everywhere you will be known as an on family...
Read moreAwful service provided by the woman on December 26th around 6pm. Bought 2 capuccinos and one machiatto. The woman pour the shots and the other person dropped a drink. The shots were left unattended for several minutes. She decided to pour cold milk on top. Later on she added the foamed milk. Mi machiatto was bitter so I asked to get a new one. She got upset and although she didn't say anything her attitude changed. She gave me the drink and the lid she got was broken so on my first sip I spilled coffee on my shirt. I told her about and she didn't even apologize. I asked her if I could get something to clean myself and she said that I could go to the bathroom. I asked her if she could give me water from the faucet and after giving a bad look she gave me one not after placing hard on the counter. So basically she made the mistakes but she didn't have the willingness to apologize, take ownership or the proper training to do deal with customer service. There was only one drink ahead of me and one other person after me. So it wasn't even busy. Disappointing experience for my first and last time here. The man with her was much more customer focused as he said "sorry" for her when I asked her to...
