Jody Miller Dog Park — Attraction in Houston

It's a shame the city doesn't seem to care about maintaining this dog park. Both the inner and outer gate on the entrance to the dog park are missing. There's another opening along the north-facing fence line. And the fence is damaged in other places as well. The water fountain buttons are damaged, although the dog water part seemed to work. Checking 311, this issue was reported in March 2024. I visited in October 2024 so seven months and the city still hasn't tried to repair it. The fence line is the most important part of a dog park. Not a great dog park, but it’s pretty nice. Pros - Other dogs also showed up and the people were nice. There’s some agility activities for the dogs to play with and plenty of trash cans and doggy bags in case you forget yours. Free parking as well.
