Really is a very must see experience. The initial impression is a little crowded! The greeting ticket attendants are very helpful, and you can try to upgrade you ticket, or get a “disabled” location if that applies, but that is inside the stadium… and not so easy to do on the “app”. The baseball mlb app is awful… really hard to use and difficult to find tickets
This being Houston, the teams and crowd are there for a predominately Latina - Cubano experience…and for Astros fans they enjoy the games… you know it’s supposed to be so tough…. But then the game needs fixed length boundaries and not random high walls and random bounce off walls
Having tried to fit in the ordinary seats.. it’s really cramped like an American or Southwest economy seat.. One can’t wait to be in that better position in the disabled cage… only other large people also needed the same… seems like the stadium is for small people! Being disabled gets the same as being large!
so you better get well .. you gotta get well good seats… like on- an Aisle!
The new owner don’t seem to know what they are doing … the stadium tvs don’t seem to work and you didn’t put your watch in the club no comment..on what’s offered… The word around is that new owners are pillaging the fans and price gouging because they can get away with it…. Not so good since the new owners took over. And it shows in every single way that they are not about quality. The whole atmosphere is now very different. Thinking that the player would carry the draw park after new owners took over was a gross miscalculation of Houston Astro Fans. The fans that spend their paychecks to enjoy one of America's greatest sports and they get awful food served on a paper plate. Let It feels crowded, expensive and all meals are cold and no longer inviting. It is quite obvious that the Daikin Park owners are just in this for maximum profit, not the better customer experience.
The food offered is just not good, fried, fatty and unhealthy, and so ridiculously expensive . Beer.. is mainly cans and other drinks are twice the price of local bars
The menus are limited and the lines get really long … when it’s your turn to order you couldn't even try something different…. As the food is pre-prepared..And from what I saw the food offered was mmmm quite disgusting. Having tried it… it was definitely inedible
It’s not just that food was is ever so expensive (and tastes terrible) it’s cold and soggy by the time you get to your.seat Imthe food is garbage. The owners are not helping fans and price gouging because they can. The food was awfully expensive Everything we bought was handed over like warm to cold… cold French fries it should have been hot. I would have even taken warm but we were not so lucky. The fries were not only cold, but tasted like soggy cardboard.
I tried the souvenir bucket of popcorn that I could supposedly "bring back for a refill … there will not be a next time"! It was awful… the popcorn was burned and dry…it tasted like chewing CARDBOARD… do NOT care about the fans or their experience in their park. me know when you put fans first again, and then I will think about spending several hundred dollars JUST for the seats, and several more hundred on the food if you can turn the whole mess around at this point. considering legal action for the pain and suffering we bought was cold when it should have been hot. I would have even taken Luke warm but we were not so lucky. The fries were not only cold, but tasted like cardboard. I got a "souvenir bucket" of popcorn that I could supposedly "bring back next time"! IT WAS FREAKING CARDBOARD!!!!!! How do you expect me to bring it back, cleaned and sanitary???. This was my first time back since the new owners took over. And it shows in every single way that they are not about quality. The whole vibe is different. It feels cold and no longer inviting.
Its a challenge to think about spending several hundred dollars JUST for the seats, and have then several more hundred $$$ on the awful food...
Read moreWe LOVE Minute Maid Park!!!! The seats are not that uncomfortable in the 100 sections. The restrooms are clean! The concessions are nice and there is a variety. However, I feel they should have a "fountain drink only" section, just like they have "Beer only" concessions. The reason for this is because when we go back for a refill of soda, we have to stand in line for a concession that is selling food items also, and that takes alot more wait time than what just a refill of soft drink would take. 8/14/23 My husband bought us tickets to the Gallagher Club at $89.00 each, for my Birthday celebration, and we were extremely dissappointed!!! For one, they don't tell you at purchase or on the web site that the staff starts putting the food away at the top of the 7th inning, so if you go then, you won't get any food. The 2 Pork Loins they had on the serving line were cold, very very tough, and tasteless.... inedible!!! I had to spit it out because I wasn't sure that it was cooked properly because it was so tough. The sliders were very very good, I was pleasantly surprised. The grilled asparagus were very good as well. The BBQ ribs were delicious!!!!! The fajitas were a joke, they were chopped up into tiny pieces and I am not sure what they tasted like because the staff manning that section were all piled up in that area laughing and being loud that we didn't get a chance to get in line to get some, although I did see someone with some and they were a joke, definitely not fajitas! The female staff manning the food lines were NOT helpful and were so busy talking with each other that the kitchen chef had to tell them that I was waiting for them to assist me with the food service. They were so wrapped up in their conversations that they were oblivious to the fact that I was standing there waiting for them to help me with the food selection. The female working in the drink section was so rude and appeared to be overworked and uninterested in customer service. I asked for ice tea because the dispenser was out, and there was a second iced tea dispenser facing her, but she just looked at me like a deer being blinded by head lights and shrugged her shoulders and turned her face at me. The other female standing next to me said that they were out of tea. I wasn't asked if we wanted another drink or nothing. Y'all need to hire staff that appreciates 4- 5 star service in that club if you plan to advertise it as a VIP food experience, for $89.00 each. The tables were full of people just sitting there watching the game, but eating, not drinking, just sitting in there. Some tables had little kids, who knows where their parents were. I mean, the whole "VIP" access at Gallagher Club was a joke! It is definitely NOT worth $89.00. For that price, I was expecting white glove service with a smile, and refills without me asking if they had any more tea!!! For that, we should have just gone to Vic and Anthony's for a steak dinner. NEVER AGAIN!!! I wonder if all those little kids in the club that day, taking up those seats/chairs were charged $89.00 to be up there with their parent(s) as well???? NOT IMPRESSED WITH GALLAGHER CLUB. DON'T...
Read moreThe game was as expected. It was fun. So, first, I had an interesting experience at the ticket check at Diakin Park. My husband, my son, my nephew, and our two friends, and I went to the baseball game today. 7/13/25 There was a small misunderstanding at the gate. The guy at the gate said someone please use the entrance on the right. I told my friends to jump over into our lane. My friend had the tickets so we were trying to stay together. A lady at the ticket check started yelling at us and said we couldn't do that. I said the guy said we should go that lane. She said "I HOLD AUTHORITY OVER HIM!" ... Cool, no problem, sorry about the misunderstanding. My friends immediately went back to their lane. The issue was solved. This lady started screaming at me! I'm pretty sure she yelled at my friend too. I told her, I'm sorry, I understand. Still screaming at me. I said "I'm sorry, I'm not trying to argue with you" Continued to scream at me "LET ME EXPLAIN THIS TO YOU! SHE SET THE ALARM OFF AND SHE HAS TO GO TO THIS SIDE! YOU ARE ON THIS SIDE AND YOU HAVE TO STAY AT ON THIS SIDE". I mean completely berated me after I apologized and said I understand and not trying to argue. She said more but I was so stunned and I obviously had to let her finish berating me because she was so angry! She just felt she had to put me in my place or something. I don't want to be a jerk or something but I feel I need to complain, but I didn't get her name or anything. It was completely unnecessary and I still don't understand why she continued to scream at me/us after we fixed the problem and apologized. It was crazy behavior. It was almost like she was expecting me to argue back and when I didn't she still had to say her piece or something. Then, we had a guy that was selling beer by the seats say he didn't have change for A beer and we paid $20 for a 16 oz beer that should have been $16. He didn't even try to go get us change ...just no change. The pints of beer were $18. Then, The kids and I waited in line for at least 30 minutes to buy ice cream only to find out that the stand didn't take cash. Nowhere does it say that they didn't take cash. I even went back to check because I did still buy ice cream. I expect to pay stadium prices when I go to a stadium, that is not an issue at all, but I also don't expect to get yelled at and wait in line to only find out that the stand doesn't take cash and to get ripped off because someone didn't have change. Overall ridiculous but the baseball game itself was great. My family got on the jumbotron so that was awesome. The air conditioning was good. Not too hot or chilly. Sadly the Astros lost, vut it was a great game. The kids and I love the train and the conductor helping hype up the crowd was amazing. Sorry i can't give more...
