Perfect for all MLS fans.

I purchased tickets for section 205A, row P, so it is midfield and one of the higher seats up, facing north.

PRO’s: SEATING, looks like it was updated recently and is overall comfortable. I honestly don’t think there are any bad viewing points in this stadium, all points felt like they were able to see action easily and clearly even if you are in the sun a lot. Seating gets an easy 4/5 PRICING, seats were reasonably priced throughout with prices ranging from the super cheap (super hot/uncovered) spots to having an air conditioned room to yourself and super expensive. My tickets and my view were perfect at around $30 a ticket. Pricing gets a 5/5. PARKING, easy enough to get parking in B lot, I paid ahead of time, parking fee is a little pricey but better than leaving your car somewhere else potentially unprotected. And with lot B being so close to the stadium it was nice to be able to just go right to the car and go home safely. Money well spent for me. Parking gets 4.5/5 FAN STORE, lots to select from to be a properly kitted out fan, all priced at would you would expect for an in stadium store. Fan Store gets a 5/5. FAN CLUB, I didn’t get to utilize it this time with my children in tow, but they offer a club/bar area that looked like a great pre-game and during game place to be. I won’t rate this as I didn’t use this feature but I consider it a win to see it there. EXPERIENCE, alright fan energy, okay DJ, safe environment, fun times. No complaints really here. Experience is 4/5

CON’s: SEATING, unless you’re watching a game at high noon, the north facing covered seats are gonna be receiving just as much sun as the east and west facing seats. Eventually the sun hides behind the skyscrapers, but it’s hot until it does. the overhang essentially is there for rain it seems, which in essence is still a win. Seating still gets a 4/5. SNACK/DRINK PRICING, I always expect to spend a lot when going to games, but I was not expecting to get a water bottle, can of beer, a small box of skittles, and three bottles of soda for $68, essentially spending $11 an item. And I was asked to tip on top of that, when it was a self-serve station. Snack/drink pricing gets a 3.5/5. BATHROOMS, I’m sorry but it’s gotta be said, the bathrooms hit you in the face with a thick warm wall of pee smell. I was one of the first people to use the freshly “cleaned” space upon opening the stadium and I was choked out and held my breath while attending to my business. This was the case for other bathrooms around the stadium as well. The bathrooms get a 0/5.

OVERALL, I will be coming back. I had fun. I will be glad to support the Dynamo and look forward to seeing how they grow as a team and franchise while attending their...

Being from Houston, I've been to the stadium many times and never have I had an issue like last night ruined my whole night! I attended the TIGRES VS DYNAMO game almost 22,000 people being there and I was the chosen one! I was already late to the game because the lines where completely long the staff is not properly trained for big events, I understand is hard to deal with thousands of people but we all are paying to come in the stadium! long story short they where checking the size of the purses and once again a lot of people being there it was completely impossible to keep track but Ms. Adriana who said was the supervisor seemed to have an issue with the purse my sister had she was holding a piece of paper and said that the purse had to be that size, well the purse was literally bout and 1 inch over the size, keep in mind that before getting in line my sister asked 3 other staff members if the purse was okay to come in they all said yes she was fine, while Ms. Adriana is focusing on my sisters purse right behind her there's a bunch of ladies that where coming inside with no issue what so ever who literally had the same michael kors purse lol and other ladies with bigger purses so I brought it to her attention but she kept ignoring it, she then said go drop it off to your car I said I don't have a car with a big event I had to uber, at that point I got upset because it seemed it was personal now, she kept repeating to the staff "DONT LET THEM IN I ALREADY SAID NO" then 2 other staff members tried talking to me to settle the situation but she came in again and claimed she texted "marisela" a picture of the purse and she said no! TEXTED A PICTURE OF THE PURSE? this whole time everything was going on my sister had to get her belongings out and throw away her purse! Terrible experience by the time I got to my seats first half was over! Thank you Ms. Adriana for making my night miserable! If im giving it 3 stars it only for the experience I went through, the stadium it self its amazing it's the staff I also seen how a guy asked one of the staff members for something once in the stadium at first the staff member seemed hesitant but the the guy pulled out money tipped him and took him wherever he was trying to go! If I would of known that was the way it worked my sister probably would of walked in with a purse & I wouldn't missed the first half, what...

Ok, not everyone is so thrilled with this place. Yeah, we get that Houston now has an MLS team with it's own stadium downtown, that's just the right size for soccer in the US, at 22,000 seats. Gotcha. Check. Roger. Acknowledged. Right on. Got it. Now here's the imperfect:

  1. Not one single cup-holder in the entire stadium. A stadium that broke ground in 2011 and opened the next year was architecturally designed without cup holders, something that is now standard at high school stadiums in this state. Remarkable how that makes one feel, having to put your drink deeeeeep underneath your seat for safekeeping.
  2. One jumbotron replay scoreboard at the north end. If you happen to be sitting in that end with your back turned to it, TFB. Tiny little one in the south end upper deck, about the size of a smart car that you can look at from 150 yards away. Enjoy.
  3. Completely enclosed except for the sky above, meaning there's no horseshoe style open end, which would allow for a breeze. So the sun bakes the place during the day, and by the 8pm kickoff for July games, it's down to a pleasant 94 degrees at your seat. No reason to go there in the age of the HD flatscreen. Dynamo, you did this to yourselves; you could've built a retractable roof air-conditioned stadium (yeah, I know, there are already 2 in H-town, but you didn't want to play at another team's stadium,...
