I was destined to come here, I needed a haircut, the studio was very convenient, came in and was warmly greeted by Gus, he is super chill, he was with a client but asked politely if I could wait a bit and I'll be next. When I sat in his chair, he looked at my face and instantly knew what would look good for me and then started to meticulously cut my hair,... found out that he came from a family of hair cutters, that originated from Mexico City, we chatted, it was easy, really cool and chill. The hair cut was exactly what I wanted. Enough said, Gus my man, keep doing what inspires you.

I don’t know where to begin, Gus comes from a generations of barbers I grew up cutting my hair as a kid at his familias barbaría in magnolia park back in the days by Del Sol off canal st. As I got older I found Gus in 2014, you don’t understand how stressful it is to find true professionalism. Gus is the only man in town in town I let cut my beard, when you’re in there you’re like family definitely a legend in the East End if you ask me.

Gus is amazing. His space is super chill and relaxing, for which his spirit matches. When we first made appointments via the app, I made three separate ones throughout the day (based on availability) for my three boys. Gus reached out to me to confirm I actually meant to make 3 appointments, and then gave us options to get all three appointments closer together. I truly appreciated his response and coordination as it was extremely helpful for a mom of 3, and also very direct and clear -- which is always a plus. When we got to the appointments, he was ready to go in his nice, clean shop and the boys left with smiles and sharp haircuts that suited each of them. Thank you, Gus! We’re looking forward to...

I have thick hair and dueling cowlicks which makes my hair stand up if not cut correctly. The first time he gave me a cut he knew what he was doing because my hair did not stick up and everything was even and nicely trimmed. He takes his time to do the job right, yet somehow manages to do it in under an hour. I went to another barber shop in the area, I did not enjoy them turning my chair to face the other customers to force conversations. It made me feel very uncomfortable. If you do feel like talking he's there to listen and have a good conversation with you like he's know you forever. Gus's place is very clean and tidy as well. I would recommend...
