I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Moroccan Hammam Spa in Houston, and I can't say enough about the wonderful experience I had. From the moment I stepped in, I was transported to a tranquil oasis that felt worlds away from the city's hustle and bustle.

The ambiance of the spa is truly enchanting, with its beautiful Moroccan-inspired decor and soothing aroma. The hammam treatment I received was an absolute delight – a perfect blend of relaxation and rejuvenation. The skilled therapists made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire experience.

I was so excited to try a hammam experience and Moroccan Hammam Spa and Bath exceeded my expectations! The spa is so lovely but more importantly the people are incredibly hospitable. I felt welcomed immediately. The owner Latifa is a complete natural at making sure you feel comfortable, whether it’s your first time or not. She is Moroccan which is ensures your experience here is authentic. I was nervous to be in a state of undress in a new place but it is completely private and all of the staff ensured I felt respected and safe and I was able to let go of being shy. The soaps, oils, and treatments smell amazing and the exfoliation glove/technique is unmatched. The spa sells products to take home and after my initial treatment I returned to buy a few things. I had my young son with me, and Latifa did not hesitate to make us both feel so welcome. She made him pots of tea and treats and he was right at home. Very relaxing experience. Our first time having a Hammam and we loved it. Hammam is basically a very nice bath. You are hand-bathed in a steam room. We were washed, oiled, washed again, scrubbed, washed, clay scrubbed, wrapped in a foil blanket, washed again, and hair washed twice. I might have missed a wash or scrub. The whole process was around 60-70 mins, and you're laying on a padded bench in a steam room. After the final rinse, we were dried off (yes they dry you off also, must be how the ultra-rich live), then handed our robes and escorted to the massage chairs. We had a head massage and then a foot massage all while sitting in a massage chair. This part wasn't as nice as the first, but still relaxing. This is a very personal experience, if you don't like people touching you, don't go!! Yes, you are wearing clothes, for the men it's boxer shorts and the ladies get a 2 piece bikini type garment.
