Edit: these nails did absolutely destroy my natural nail beds on my hands and feet. Complete waste of time and money coming here For how hard they will upsell you I would hope there would be a bit better of a result. I got a mani pedi and spent, after tip, almost $150. I didn't want gel at first but figured it would offer more protection since I had one of my nails break recently. I was reassured it wouldn't be too heavy but it's quite thick and dried down with the polish pooling a bit at the tips of each nail leaving a lumpy profile. I was asked several times if I liked the application of the design and other staff asked to look at my nails when I was done and they all kept asking me if I liked it. It's obviously amateur work but I don't think I need to be the one to ask for a redo when staff are all side eyeing eachother about it. I don't REALLY care that they look like this because it's a little funny but I know other people DO care about this sort of thing. I just didnt want to stay any longer than I was. They don't offer any service single nail tips unless you spend $40~70 for the full set. I personally like having long natural nails and I don't want to lay all that product on top of my whole long nails -that will only damage my nails later. So I'm sporting one finger with an awkward short nail lol. I was there for only around an hour and 45 minutes. And the massage was quite nice for hands and feet. The milk and honey package is pleasant and I'm happy to recommend it. Overall the experience was a bit overwhelming for someone who doesn't get services like this, lots of different people asking the same set of questions while also up-selling. So so so much upselling. Encouraging larger and larger packages after I've already told someone else what I want is already kind of annoying but to take their recommendations have the end result like this is a bit disappointing. If you are someone who knows exactly what you want and has all day then I'm sure you'll be happy here! Personally, I think for the price paid for the nails (if I recall correctly $60 from the original $25 package I had asked for initially) it's not something I would come and get again. The 10% off for first timers is also NOT applied to the total and will be applied to each BASE service instead of something closer to like $15 off it's closer to $10. Not something I have an issue with paying because I didn't even know about it before my visit, just kind of funny!!

Great service and many services to choose from; as I chose a foot massage for 10 minutes at only $15 total! The margarita was free! See the video.

I came in one day after work, July 3rd I think, closer to 5:30ish already feeling awful I had to get my nails done so close/right before they closed at 7- It was pretty packed and it was my first time visiting since the salon was re-done/expanded. I was blown away by how busy they were on a random Thursday! (In a great way) I had to wait a few minutes but not long at all! The manager, Kevin, swept in and told me he’d be taking care of me because he didn’t want me waiting any longer. Little did I know, that Kevin would make my first time back SO special and one I’ll never forget. Kevin and his nail technicians made me feel so welcomed, so relaxed, so comfortable- everyone was really kind and adamant on taking care of not just me, but everyone at the salon. Knowing that Kevin was the owner and already feeling so comfortable- I immediately trusted him in what I envisioned for my nails. I showed Kevin a photo of the simple almond shaped nails I wanted- He said he could do those easily and quickly to get me in and out of there! He did so and in fact, 1000 times better than what I asked for. My nails looked exactly like the photo. Kevin knows what he’s doing - He went on to chat with me during my appointment, tell me about his business, and even show me the tools and equipment they use at the shop that are HIS OWN BRANDšŸ˜ I was blown away and felt honored to be getting my nails done by the OWNER himself🄹 Especially due to the fact he doesn’t usually work on clients himself and is more so focused on running the business + providing support to his nail technicians as a whole. Needless to say, I reassured Kevin I’d be back and I couldn’t thank him enough for the nails he blessed me with in SUCH a short amount of time. Kevin and every one of his nail techs at Nails of America Memorial, knows exactly what they are doing and will make sure your experience is incredible each and every time you visit them. Went back today and blown away- yet again!🄰

So to begin-- the pricing on the website feels intentionally unclear. Expect for your classic French tip to cost $85.

Next, I had serious issues with the tech-- Anna. The shape was just off-- too thick, too chunky. I asked her to fix it numerous times, because well it $85. What is supposed to be a relaxing experience was so anxiety filled. I had to tell her to reapply the glue numerous times because the nail kept lifting. I had to ask her to reshape the nail after explicitly requesting a round nail shape. She eventually grew frustrated and handled my hands very aggressively. Someone stepped in (thankfully) and took over. Nonetheless, for my folks who struggle to speak up at nail salons, this is a prime example of why.

The French tip? Well, it just seems like a skill issue. It's so uneven, and I didn't even ask for a deep French tip-- just a French tip. But again-- skill issue. After being treated so rudely by the first tech, I just couldn’t keep correcting them. So I basically paid $85 for an uneven french tip that is not at all what I wanted.

I spent two hours at this place and I'm extremely disappointed in the service. Extremely, but after going back and forth with not only the tech but the front desk person about the fact that I've had my nails done numerous times and they were never as thick-- I couldn't fight anymore.

Honestly, I'd go elsewhere, it was a stressful and honestly unpleasant experience. Save your money and your sanity. If you want to watch over your tech to make sure they’re doing a good job the entire time, absolutely come here! If you want the tech who obviously is still learning, to be frustrated with your feedback and handle your hand aggressively come here! If you want everyone in the shop to try and gaslight you to avoid fixing their bad work, come here!

Despite the horrible service, did they offer to discount anything? Nope. This is a business that absolutely does not care about their patrons.

Photos below show what I got VS what I asked for. If you can’t do a simple French tip…...
