Broken Window in "Secured" Domain West Parking – Serious Security Concerns I've been a resident of Domain West for 2.5 years and, until recently, was completely satisfied with the living conditions. However, on May 27, 2025, I encountered an issue that casts serious doubt on the complex's advertised security and accountability. My car, parked on the second floor of Domain West's "secured" 7-story parking garage, was found with a broken window in the morning. The parking garage is advertised as being reliably guarded, with controlled entry and exit only via gates operated by a remote control. Despite this, my property was damaged. Upon reporting the incident to the front desk, the Domain West staff were attentive, promised to review video footage, and assisted me in communicating with the police. I'm grateful for their help in that regard. The police took my report of property damage over the phone and recorded the details. According to Domain West staff, the incident occurred around 5:00 AM. An unknown vehicle entered the second floor of the parking garage, and two individuals in hoodies exited it. They broke my car window and also attempted to remove my wheels. I'm extremely concerned that a vehicle with perpetrators could freely enter a secured parking garage, and these individuals felt so unpunished that they even attempted to remove wheels, which takes a significant amount of time. No one has been able to answer my question about how this is possible given the controlled entry and security. However, when it came to financial compensation for the damage, which totaled $845 (cost of glass and installation), the situation changed. I was given the security firm's contact information, but then told that no one intends to compensate me for my losses. There have been no further investigations by Domain West, nor any attempts from their side to contact the security firm. Such a complete disavowal of responsibility for an incident on supposedly secured property is deeply troubling. I cannot afford to pay such a sum and did not expect to encounter such a problem in a residential complex that promotes itself as a safe place to live. The aprtments sucks!!!!

Cons:

constant fire alarm testing which is located in your bedroom!!! For hours from time to time.

Many amenities are yet to be build: dog park, grill, elevator etc.

Gym is below average, looks nice but not practical. Yoga bikes, are uncomfortable and painful to use.

The walls are thin, you can hear neighbors from the upper floor moving furniture, walking, you can even hear people talking in the hallway.

Garage gate sometimes breaks, and closes on you as you driving in to the garage!! My brand new SUV was damaged by that stupid gate and the management will not help financially! I have $2,000 in damages. Talk to the manager Kelly, she was nice and got me some sort if discount. It wont cover the damages by any means, but better something than nothing. As I mentioned before the staff is super nice and they do get the job done.

$33 Valet trash service is nice, But always restriction, dont do this, dont do that. Just plain annoying.

Electric stove- another negative. I would prefer gas.

Garage is nice, BUT it so narrow to maneuver around, you have to stop and go backwards sometimes, or you will hit the post. Thanks god I dont have a truck, i can't even imagine trying to go level up with it.

Cable/ internet must be At&t

Pros: Friendly staff members. Always eager to help and solve any issue that may arise.

Location is just perfect. Lots of food stores and restaurants.

Extremely clean everywhere.

Dog friendly.

Nice appliances, front loaders and stainless

Move in special, basically they will move you for free.

Many move in promotions.

Price is good considering the location
