To say service at this location is truly a joke. I drove into the drive-thru around 10:00 p.m. and ordered a very simple drink, or at least what I thought was simple. The signature cranberry limeade drink! They gave me the total and told me to drive around and which I proceeded to follow one car that was in front of me. About 5 minutes after waiting the car in front of me finally pulled off after being serviced and then I pulled up into the first spot. The gentleman inside the store came out and said "Route 44 cup of ice". I replied no and as I attempted to state my order he walked off to the next car behind me. After that car wasn't the right car either he then proceeded to walk around the front of the building past my car again to the cars that was in the stalls. It got even worse. The car started to pile up behind me and the car that was initially behind. Now five cars waiting service begin to diminish more. After 15 minutes of sitting a gentleman got out of the car went to the door and tapped on it to ask several series of questions to the inside staff. After another 10 minutes post that conversation the same staff member came out and said "Cookie Blizzard", in which again I replied no. Versus taking my order or asking me sir What did you order He proceeded to go to the next car yet again. Surprisingly the car that was originally behind me had already pulled off in which I'm sure that was their order. As he walked past me I again signaled to try to get his attention but yet he proceeded over to the stalls yet again with this order. Finally he came back as he was going into the door I yelled excuse me is it possible to check the status of my drink in which he asked "what did you order?" I replied with my drink that eventually showed up out of the door within 2 minutes but to my demise with a straw for a small size cup. I handed him my payment and asked for another straw to fit this cup size which he took my card inside came back out but no straw. Another gentleman came out of the door this after being in this drive-thru for now 31 minutes and handed me a straw. It was amazing because I sat in the drive-thru and was able to see the scoreboard that was visible through the doors and it said 12 days since the last complaint. This was a milestone marker listed on their scoreboard for internal stats. Either the service at this location has become the norm or this night was just one of the worst.
To the OWNER, No need to post the response that has gone to the last six people who have given negative reviews in the last week or so nor the link. I have already escalated to the proper channels because if there has been no change but yet consistency in the complaints then the number and or the link is not helping..
I am strongly encouraging the corporate office to review the service, add more mystery shoppers, and the reviews that are plaguing...
Read moreI was assaulted on Valentines Day 2016 around 1:28pm, after leaving church family and I stop at the local Sonic Drive In. Placed a simply order (A Cheap burger) Not hard to make, wont be a long wait. Well to my surprise there's a wait. 12 minutes goes by. Got out spoke to the ONLY car hop as she Mentioned! May I speak with the manager Please! I was rudely ignored. So I waited for her to come back out. To ask again, maybe she didn't hear me. But she laugh the first time. So again I asked a little louder to be sure. She could have been laughing at something else. Excuse Me, But, may I speak to the manager. Again i felt ignored due there was no reply! So I continue to stand outside while looking from a distance for someone in charge. Now more of a wait. A frw minutes goes by and She (carhop) walked towards the car. Great! I felt now we can go! After all its a special day for a married couple. After getting the food the Girl asked if I wanted to speak to the manager. O boy was I upset and rudely told her NO! BY IGNORING HER IN RETURN. Its over lets go. Wife says check the food knowing the food is always wrong! So I check its Good! Opps the fries where old and cold and cooked in whats looks to be way pass its filtering days of the grease. Not fresh at all. So I get out my car and halfway met by another employee claiming to be Her brother, I said ok great now can I get some fresh Fries! Well as we all know it went way left. So now as Im asking for fresh fries and dealing with this hoodlum who is very much in need on customer service along with the entire staff, unprofessional, shirt un-tucked and pants at his knees yelling about his sister. I stated to him what your issue now he's in my face like my wife wanna a kiss. Moving on so his quote sister opens the door takes the fries and as the door closes the Boy employee of Sonic Tall, darkskin, wearing a grill. U know melted metal aka Gold. Hits me in the face then a dang stoke hold as if we were on WWE! Slam me to the ground and we roll around back and fourth then I get free do me and then I swear I hope im Wrong but another employee hits me from there now folks wanna stop it. NEVER SEEN THE MANAGER IN THAT WHOLE TIME. Called 911 waited an hour at the location, for the police to arrive and My wife son and I was so Shocked what happen next before the cops arrive. Another guy arrives in a blk Bmw lic plate 7199 last digit i think pulls out a guy and begans to point it. No more needed to be said we left. Online orders always take 20+ minutes after ready time. The manager is always complaining about the owner and how them being slow and constantly running out of ingredients is his fault because they aren’t allowed to order and he mistreats and yells at them. I used to sympathize but after going so often realized that specifically her and the employees are the problem. I waited 36 minutes for 6 drinks/shakes that had been ordered 17minutes prior to my arrival before finally asking someone what was going on. She seemed shocked I had been waiting that long but then proceeded to bring me melted watered down shakes that were probably sitting there the whole 36minutes I had been waiting. I asked to get them replaced and was told that the manager said no because they would lose inventory. I told her that wasn’t my fault or my problem and that I needed to speak to her because I wasn’t paying for that, she came back and stated they were making them. Made me wait another 20+ minutes and the manager brought them out. Yep still the same shakes I told my son that they didn’t fix it and they were just gonna have to drink them that way because we had been there for an hour, she proceeded to say I was lying because she made them herself, and we went back and forth because I knew for a fact she was lying as one of my shakes that was missing and brought by another employee was still solid and frozen. My husband and son who then drank the shakes got severely sick so we never went back because they definitely messed with the shakes that were sent back. ALL of those employees need to get replaced or at least the manager because if you have a clown manager then the rest of the crew will definitely feel like it’s ok to clown around with people’s food. Place needs to be shut down since the owner obviously doesn’t care as seen by all other reviews, I will definitely take this further for tampering with our drinks.
