Had Alan do my tattoo. Me and my friend got there and waited about an hour for him to get there and then asked me to help bring in materials. By the time he started it was two hours past our schedule time. After he does my friends tattoo then it was my turn, he did the lining, then He said he was done and wanting to go eat so we stopped and got food down the strip. During the tattoo, during the meal he told me to “calm down”, not to use profanity. It had me embarrassed to where I didn’t even wanna talk at all. I thought we could laugh and have a good time like others around us, but made me feel very uncomfortable. Afterwards he said he wasn’t gonna finish the tattoo that day. To come back in a few weeks. He was gonna still continue to do the tattooing for the day, which I thought was weird since I was still ready to keep going and since we payed for our service. I posted a video of Halloween weekend with his ex girlfriend and now refuses to finish the tattoo. Since he was my friend, I gave him advice about the breakup; I told him he was cute, he will find someone else. I guess it’s just an excuse to not do it at all now. I believe this was completely unprofessional behavior in all. Now I have to find someone else to finish it since he’s being childish about the whole situation. This is a beautiful shop with incredible art, decor and amazing atmosphere. Welcoming from the moment you walk through the door.

The local artist are amazing, with each having a unique style. Be sure to follow them on instagram (@ridersonthestormhtx) because they have guest artist coming from all over the US to tattoo their style they’re famous and known for.

It’s located in a plaza that has a coffee shop, restaurant, thrift store and more. The owner is friendly and interacts well with all the artist clients.

They also have some merch and Navajo jewelry for sale.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with him for several pieces, ranging from small designs to large multiple session designs. To me, what makes working with Cristian so special, is that he cares about the intention behind the art pieces.
