Texas Art Supply — Attraction in Houston

came in just to look around, and walked out with a $20 hole in my pocket!

when they said this place had everything, they meant it! when i walked in, i was greeted by a friendly associate and was allowed to roam the aisles. i looked around and bought some stickers and cards. (personally, i believe some things were a bit expensive, but i'm not deducting points for that; when you come over, make sure to bring some "dough" with you, haha.)

when i needed to find a specific item, a spectacular employee (i believe his name was "Dell"!) led me right to it! explained to me what i needed, how to find it, and even gave me some recommendations! helped me out, and sent me on my way.

i might come back just to browse the aisles some more, maybe even buy a few more things! definitely visit if you're a big fan of journals because - hoo-boy - do they have a lot of 'em!

can't say i walked out unsatisfied. this is the first - and probably only store - i will ever go to! they deserve the 5 stars! thank y'all so much!

This place has so much more in like quality art products than Michael's and hobby lobby. I loved it and spent a while buying my stuff. Only 4 stars but would be five if I don't feel like I was being watched like they thought I was going to steal from them. I eight products and going back for more. Maybe next time they will be less obvious and see that I am a real customer. I customize sneakers and this place gave me more options all across the board with texture and colors and everything art.

Well went back to this awesome store. And just left feeling prejudged because the color of my skin. I butwanted to get some more paints but left after a few purchases because I can tell I was being swarmed by the workers following and watching me. I'm no crook , and not broke. I don't steal. Texas Art Supply is a great place for an art student or professional to come for supplies. Their store has a wide selection at great prices. When I was a student I would come here for Canson paper, Conte pastels, gouache paint, sketchbooks, and just about everything. I even came here for envelopes to send out my wedding invitations, and I have also purchased gifts here. The size and selection of this store beats any other store I’ve tried to visit for supplies. It’s always nice and quiet when I visit, so I can focus on studying which supplies or gifts I want to buy. Additionally, the employees are helpful and ready to assist. I have always had to ask for help when cutting large sheets of paper. Another plus for students is the small discount you receive for showing your student ID.
