Read moreThe Good Space is such a relaxing place to get in good movement. I work in the building and it's SO convenient to pop down for a lunch time class, or after work. The instructors are all incredibly knowledgable and helpful if you're new to reformer pilates. It's so welcoming. I was even able to use my HSA (health-savings account) from work to reimburse me for my memebrship. They partner with a company called truemed that partners with doctors to grant letters of medical necessity. You just provide that letter (or I guess one from your own PCP could work too) and your receipt to your HSA and get reimbursed. I got my entire month's membership reimbursed from my HSA! So if you're a fan of girl math that means my classes are basically free... Because I spent money that was already gone from my check sitting in my HSA fund. :) Pilates is a great addition to any exercise routine. If you have elevated blood pressure, stress, anxiety, depression, mobility issues, a sports related injury, an accident related injury, or simply want to work on your overall functional movement... TAKE PILATES!!! I've enjoyed many activites from running to biking to weight lifting and I went into pilates thinking I wouldn't be as challenged as the more intense types of exercise I've done....
Read moreI was a member at this studio for about a year before relocating. It was nice to have appointments to keep me consistent. It was a good motivator that if I didn't show up I lost money! ;) The agreements are all fair and outlined in writing on the website. The instructors are knowledgeable and sweet. I always got a good workout and felt comfortable giving and getting feedback. The instructors are also open and flexible when clients ask to be pushed harder. Pilates is amazing and I really enjoyed getting to know the practice at the Good Space. Also loved the other fun classes for barre, cardio, and yoga! Some of the best pricing in town if you get membership rates and buy in bulk, for recurring appointments, or monthly deals. Also to the other reviewer..they do occasionally have wine and snacks and special gatherings. Follow them on facebook! :) They also contribute to the women's shelter and other great causes.
