I was super excited to visit this restaurant but unfortunately I was a little bit disappointed... I first discovered it via plant it forward page and I got so excited about them buying local organic vegetables. All their ingredients are pretty clean and of high quality and that's definitely a great thing. My tummy is super sensitive and I eat healthy food all the time so if there is anything in the food that is not good for it, it gets really upset šŸ˜! And it didn't after eating at this place. The place is beautiful and i love the pictures on the walls and the different lebanese gadgets all over the store. The staff is super nice and helpful. This is why I gave it a 3. The food was not good in my opinion. There is so much room for improvement when it comes to presentation and taste. The presentation of the food was very poor. The presentation of the food doesn't have to only be excellent at high end restaurants. I go to Fadi's which is a cantina style Lebanese restaurant and my mouth salivates when I see the food. This is extremely important in my opinion. The fattoush did not look yummy and usually when i see a plate of fattoush my mouth gets all excited! I don't think the carrots go well with fattoush. A typical Lebanese fattoush has tomatoes, cucumbers that are cut differently and blend better with the fattoush, sometimes radish and purslane herb! It is the most delicious salad that I grew up with or ever had and this was nothing close to that. The roasted cauliflowers also sounded delicious but did not look or taste that delicious. The flavors were not apparent enough and my taste buds were not thrilled. The chicken was not good - it was dry and had no flavor. I was quite disappointed. I grew up having Lebanese style rotisserie chicken and this doesn't even come close. Even the Sprouts rotisserie chicken is more moist and better tasting than this. I have also had much better Lebanese style rotisserie chicken in Houston so I know it is doable. The skin was tasty but not the meat - maybe the chicken wasn't soaked enough in the marinade. I am just guessing here. The garlic was yellow! Garlic sauce is white and not yellow. The color didn't look appetizing at all. The potatoes were good. I ordered them with garlic on the side but they brought them with garlic on top any way. Then, they brought me another side without the garlic which was definitely nice of them. The potatoes with garlic on top also didn't look so good - there needs to be a more artistic touch in putting together the dishes. The Lebanese rice was delicious! The pickles were also delicious! All in all I was happy with the service and the space and with the local sustainable food choices and eco packaging but not the presentation or taste...

We know the freakn’ long term construction on Fountain View, San Felipe is beyond ridiculous, but we guarantee that Craft Pita food is worth the effort and frankly we will be sad when the construction zone disappears bc we know the east days of getting a table here will be over. So let’s start with the why? Why should you visit Craft Pita? Start with the service. Rarely do we find great service these days, so when we experience great service on multiple visits we are understandably impressed. When ordering, they patiently answer questions & offer informative suggestions. Our first trip was a week night on our way home & we took the recommended suggestions-a chicken Lebanese tacos & a chicken pita, fries and rose lemonade. Now HOU has a pretty decent taco game but these were different in a very good way. The chicken in those tasty tacos were front and center without any fancy pico, salsa or sauce trying to distract you. I had the dreamy rice as my side, and because there was so much I had enough for lunch the next day. Several times the staff checked on us as we ate outside offering aioli and other sauces to try with our food. My partner had chicken pita which was as big as my forearm, and while it also was a ā€œchickenā€ dish, it had a completely lovely different taste! The fries were crisp (unlike the sad ones at in/out)with we think was garlic seasoning, & def worth adding to your order. A few weeks later, we returned and damn if our second trip wasn’t just as consistently good all around! It is quite remarkable to experience great tasting food & service, but to have a restaurant do it consistently at an affordable price is beyond rare. Oh before you leave, do get a few of the pistachio cookies šŸ˜‰Bottom line, go visit this fine establishment before the construction ends and everybody else...

This is very rare that I walk into the place and find everything to be spot on. I haven't came back to visit again one day just to be sure that this is just not my imagination and that this is one of those days that it was just a good day for the restaurant. These guys actually Pride their self on Quality Service throughout the duration of your visit. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Put it like this I did not need to Salt and Pepper in my food. Just Mediterranean was far beyond what I have experienced and I'm going to keep coming back for different dishes that I've seen others around enjoying during my dining experience. The establishment is clean and orderly even down to the bathroom. I should have taken pictures but my phone was low but I will be definitely posting some later in the future. I have to say, The Gyro wrap I've tried we're great. The pita bread was so fresh even on the Caesar wrap with the chicken Mediterranean seasoned crispy pita chips paired welll with the wrap. The lentils ate even great to add to what I already was having. I use the pita chips to dip into it as a dip... In-house freshness!!! These guys definitely got my business. Keep up the great service on...

I ordered the half chicken online to-go and was told they only had 1/4 chicken left, but they could start the half if I really wanted it, it would just take an extra 30 minutes. Understandable and as I wanted the half chicken, I opted to wait. Pretty good decision because the rotisserie chicken was yummy. The skin was nicely crispy (although slightly missing on my leg piece) and the meat was juicy. It could have had a little more seasoning to amp up the flavor, it tasted like a juicy chicken but not necessarily like anything unique, and I do feel it was priced a little high for what you get… but it’s not the worst thing. I had the hummus on the side that was very creamy and I appreciated the olive oil and pine nut topping. Clearly I started chowing down before I remembered to take a picture!! The pita was honestly like grocery store quality in my opinion so I would rather have had the choice of adding rice instead of dry bread, but again not really worth knocking points down for a fresh and good meal.
