Gyro Hut — Restaurant in Houston

This is a long overdue review!

I placed an online order around 2:45pm on 06/27 & this is when the heavy rain came that day out of no where!! On my way towards the route Fountain View it was pouring rain down to the point I couldn’t see the road!! & as I passed Westheimer Road…it was flooded & two vehicles were stalled just before reaching the first light down, two cars in front me had to pulled to this lot which of course I followed to not be the next victim caught in the flood! 😅

I contacted the restaurant & told them about my situation they offered & were willing to remake my order!! How amazing that is! After 3 hours of waiting for the flooded area to finally dived down I went in & spoke to AHMAR who was the one who spoke with me on the call. Made my food all fresh! This was my 5th time coming here & the food is delicious! I always get the Gyro Fries🔥🔥🔥

I would highly recommend against order with Ubereats but I highly recommend ordering from Gyro hut. After uber eats delivered my order with a missing mixed over a rice. I reached out to them looking for a solution and was met with TERRIBLE customer service. I then called Gryo hut to see if maybe it was still there. I was met with an extremely friendly attitude. Told to come right down to get my missing items even tho they knew they had packed it. And was able to get my missing items even tho it seems like it wasn’t Gryo huts fault. My pregnant wife and I arrived fifteen minutes before closing, and we were told by an employee that the kitchen was closed. You could hear the Uber tablet notifications constantly making noise, as if they had been ignored since well before we had arrived. If you claim to be open until a certain time, you should actually be open until that time. If you as a business owner want to make money, then you should ensure your employees are taking orders and not closing early on their own, which it is clear that this employee had already closed up shop well before 15 minutes ahead of closing time.
