The liv’n Room — Attraction in Houston

This place has wonderful drinks and music all through out the week. The atmosphere is a VIBE . Some of the bar tenders knows how to make awesome drinks for they customer. Now this guy here is one of the bar tenders that work there on Watever days. Last week on Friday, he was my server and made me an awesome lemon drink… then he proceeds to offer me a bird shot and purposely squirts the alcohol in my eye and mind yall im already tipsy and not catchin on ! (I’m wiping my eye and it’s burning and thank god I didn’t have contacts in) anyways a women comes up n t3ll me that was spiteful sassy and rude. Any ways he offered a lovely “complimentary shot” n hmm sound like some guilt. we spoke online and 🤣🤣 yea it was giving purposely shade which could’ve resulted in a bad exchange. $30 dollars for a double watered-down shot of Don is why I go to Midtown or the Heights bc trying to support black establishments is dumb. That is exactly why this spot has had 20 different names. I think it was the blue ice when my parents were outside. Yeah. Never again and I wasn't even paying my date did but still. Mad crazy. . Ridiculous unreasonable drink pricing. At least nobody wasn't trying to take us for $50 parking like these other black bars and clubs around town in the trey. I am team River Oaks. Urban Smoke, Davenports long pours . The Liv’n Room is a hole in the wall club in Houston, TX.

The live music here is amazing. This club has so much potential. But, they play old school music and raunchy music alike. I’m not sure which audience they are catering to.

I’m grown and sexy so I would rather not hear the raunchy, profane language laced songs played by the DJ. Overall, I enjoyed my short visit.

It’s mostly standing room only in a less than stellar atmosphere. You can reserve seats in the small VIP area or find a seat in the back or the patio.
