the manager on duty a young lady with glasses and blonde dreads was rude to me and very unprofessional. They were talking about being drunk the night before loud at the desk when we walked in and the manager allowed her employee ( a Tall young lady with short blonde dreads ) to joke with me saying if I didn’t wanna take a picture for my account I had to leave, I wasn’t in the mood and asked not to be joked with and that I wasn’t having the greatest day, and was simply just asking if I could wait to take the picture. the employee in question with short dreads was extremely rude from the beginning and should not be in any position of greeting. The situation was blown up and we both begin the exchange words. The manager and side kick employee both being rude and not upholding the standard of the customers preference and service they could have simply been like hey we didn’t know you were having a rough day and enjoy your workout instead they decided to double down on the unnecessary joke and continue to tell what I could do or couldn’t do or leave. There was also a Hispanic young lady present who stayed completely out of it and kept it professional and she seemed to be the manager and the one handling my issue. I’ve been coming to this location for years and this isn’t the first time this manager was rude to me, she also continued to stare and be rude after the fact when the situation had died down and was attempting to stare and be petty while I asked for access to the massage chairs. The entire staff on that day sat around laughing and joking the entire time I was there and working out and made no attempts to actually work, no weight sanitation, no weight re-racks, no nothing just conversation and jokes. You guys may want to reevaluate your management team.

Which Planet Fitness is this? My phone doesn't say, so I'll describe ALL of my latest experiences. I'm a black card member so I go to MANY Planet Fitnesses in Houston as of the last year, May 2023 to May of 2024.

The staff is almost ALWAYS amenable at most locations here & the woman's showers @ the Planet fitness at Beechnut and 69 has the very Best hot water that you'll EVER find! {Although the handicapped shower has a bent seat and NO HOOK for the sprayer in the showerstall Or a HOOK for your towel or purse or ANYTHING important!!! THO I've been begging for a new one FOR OVER six months!!! I'VE BEEN TEMPTED TO BUY THEM ONE MYSELF!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️I'VE EVEN ASKED LARRY, THE MANAGER PERSONALLY, which put in a cheap one that was broken again within a month! BUT STILL THIS PLACE, IMO IS THE Best LOCATION, as long as it's ITS NOT A FRI OR SAT NIGHT, BC OF THE CRAZY DRINKERS & broken beer bottles in the FULL PARKING LOTS FROM THE LOCAL BAR PARTY ON THE WEEKEND NIGHTS!

NOW more on other LOCATIONS in HOuston, of definitely SCOTT STREET and ALSO POSSIBLY FONDREN, and in maybe I think also in KATY on Fry Rd, & I REALLY FREEZE IN THE LADIES HANDICAPPED showers...the water temperature is substandard. But I REALLY, REALLY FROZE AT SCOTT ST. For sure ON THURSDAY MORNING, MAY 9TH!!! Sometimes I try to leave the handicapped stall to move to the middle shower and the water gets a bit warmer there, not actually freezing me...and I run the water for a LOOONG TIME to give it a chance to warm up, but it NEVER DID! 🥺🤦🏻‍♀️😢...WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? DO YOU THINK HANDICAPPED PEOPLE CAN'T HANDLE HOT WATER??? THIS IS REALLY Intolerable, AND I WILL NOT WORK OUT AT YOUR FACILITY BC OF THIS! NO ONE REALLY ENJOYS A COLD SHOWER TO GET THE STINKY SWEAT OFF, UNLESS...

Hello, I am writing to express deep concern at this location. I was basically kicked out for having my bag ON MY BACK. The 'manager' came over and told me the policy of you have to have your bag in a locker and not on the floor. and I said I left my key and I have 5 mins left. if she said, lemme hold your bag upfront for you since you have 5 mins left. I would have appreciate that and felt they valued me as a customer. And no, keeping my bag in a car is not an option. Long story short she came over to me when I went to another machine and asked me to leave because they have to enforce the bag policy. She said " you've been told multiple time about your bag". I honestly felt discriminated at this point because it was like they were "checking for me" lol. I said umm check your cameras I've been told once by the light skin girl with curly hair and I said ok. and since then I've kept my bag in a locker, I was here two days ago, check your cameras. I then pointed out to her the WOMAN NEXT TO ME, with her bag on the floor and others on the floor, she was like well imma have to talk to her too. Long story short, she could have said hey I have a lock for you, you can use its $1 lol or something. It doesn't seem I'm welcome here so ill take my business elsewhere. You should too! DONT COME HERE. I'm not mad they enforcing the policy, I'm just like yo, you gonna kick someone out because they bag is on their back/body? They also recently had security which I'm like hmm did something go down. They never had security before....
