Vinson Neighborhood Library — Attraction in Houston

Finally found a library that looks like a library. While minding my own business and keeping quiet, I often heard distracting conversations and I thought to myself to simply ignore it. It’s probably just some rude people and they will eventually go away, come back, and deal with it again; it didn’t. I don’t know what it is, but in humble opinion, Houston and nearby county libraries always have so much noise, atypical from a normal library. Upon further investigation... to my surprise, it was actually the staff that were being noisy. I wouldn’t mind if kids were being noisy, however the staff make the loudest noises. The lightskin black lady at the desk don’t need to be at the desk….I went to get only two copies for shipping labels “on a time schedule” and her answer to me was “idk sir” over and over. I BEEN GOING TO THIS LOCATION MY WHOLE LIFE … I asked about the sizing of my print both asking and hoping for more options and nothin was given to me but “idk sir”. I been a Tattoo shop owner for 14 years that’s an elementary situation that turned into a major problem. Could have said it was gonna cost me to still even if we wanted to test it out….also I could have went to Office Depot which is the opposite away from the drop...

Attended a basic Excel class today 08-12th . The class did not start on time as schedule. The instructor made a ugle statment " did anyone go to to Lubbock this weekend? I (he) needed some cotton". The class was made up of most africian americans- women , one man and two hispanic males. I set a little while to see if he would make any more ignorant statments . He mad a so call joking statiment in spanish , not sure if it as funny or not. Most of then laughed, I sure did not , it was not funny to me being a AABLK female.
