Purchased food to go from buffet line. Went home to eat the food m, only to discover that the macaroni and cheese and rice and gravy were sour/spoiled and not safe to consume. Drove back to the restaurant and requested a refund from staff and manager, and a refund was refused. Food replacement was offered and told no refund woykd very given. I refused to accept food replacement for fear of getting unacceptable poor quality food again. I then mentioned reporting restaurants to the health department. Then the manager said he would issue a partial refund and told me not to ever come back to his restaurant after a refund was issued. The manager and staff had a very nasty attend and were very unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude. The manager yelled at me and was inconsiderate and refused to admit his food products were a violation and the fact that he could receive a large fine from the health department for serving spoiled/sour food items. People that order food to go don't taste their food before leaving the restaurant to know whether it's spoiled/sour therefore the no refund policy should be void and nin existentfor all customers. The health department needs to be notified every time there is a violation regarding the food and or beverages. This is one of the worst experiences I have had. I've warned you all.... When I go to a buffet I expect to build up my plate, have a seat, eat and enjoy the food. It wasn't the case, we got there and the buffet was empty, food took long to be ready but the portions were so smalls, didn't enjoy at all. At the end we just decided to leave and go somewhere else where we could eat and have the food ready on time. Like I said, staff were nice and honest so I give then the start that I rated (because is the lowest I can go), but to the place and the experience I just had I would put a -5 stars.
